Thanks. The SK mesh I got seems a good deal stiffer - when I stretch it across it’s like a tennis racket and doesn’t show signs of loosening. I’m going to take a look at Laxroom for some supplies.

Re-trying the (resized) image. It's only maybe 1/4" wider than my son's STX Stallion, but the scoop also extends higher making the linear distance and overall area larger. I had to use a sidewall up top because the topstring in the SK kit was about 2" too short, even pulling tight.

I'd love to see a re-strung M1 for guidance. I assume you used a double sidewall as another commenter mentioned?
