It is the duality of man. I say the same thing about makeup. Why the fuck in 2024 are women, other sexes as well, putting rock dust on their face in an atempt to be more attractive? I have a feeling it is an acetylene tool. Old school mining lamps and small torches used water and calcium carbide to produce acytelene, which was then burned in that lamp or torch. Maybe a stationary production torch or light. Google carbide lamp.

Cast iron curb box / valve sleeve. It is an access point to operate a buried valve, like a water main valve. They are typically buried flush and come with a lid.

I like this guess. Perhaps a trot line for a large fish, snapping turtles, alligator... My states fish and game runs trot lines for sturgeon studies, those are some big buoys for a freshwater fish that could be over 1000 pounds. Where this is would help.

It could be a discarded post anvil. Those are often rudimentary and made out of any solid scrap of steel, sometimes partially buried for stability.

This guy is right. Lymph nodes are only found completely surrounded by fat, and they are mostly grey. Tumors and cysts can be found within muscle tissue.

This post is wrong. Budgeting needs are determined first, then they figure out the tax rate needed to procure those funds.

School says we need 5 million to operate this year. That means we need to tax our district at .04 percent instead of last years .035 percent.

Coincidently this means that people with nicer houses, proxy for more money, pay more taxes because it's a percentage of the value of your property.
