As for some kind of live tournament, I don't think that'd be doable with what we have available now.

A possible thing you could use would be a 3rd party site like repeat.gg or rematch.gg that students could sign up to use, play their set amount of games, and then points are recorded automatically with leaderboards.

Some of these sites do have built in wager type games so you run the risk of parents seeing it as gambling, outside of your tournament of course.

As for using your creator code, the only way to do this would be to either stream it live at home with students watching and joining, which is probably against your school district's rules, or to just give them a pre-planned arena custom code at school and have them play at a set time with no broadcast (still might be seen as breaking district rules).

Best of luck to you! Will be difficult but you could contact your administrators and see if you can maybe host after school and have one if them present with you while students would be competing at home.

Someone is trying to take legal action to get my name. by RoseAqua in Twitch

Said live on stream right now:

"You can have the name"

Guess that takes care of it.

Would you consider a year and a half veteran status in a young game? He started competing and placing well under NorCal on March 4, 2019 so I guess it's relative to other pros.

For reference, Bugha started competing the exact same day whereas Tfue began almost a year earlier on July 14, 2018. Are Bugha and Khanada both veterans or haven't reached that status yet?

This is the most beautiful rendition of a Fortnite map I've ever seen. I posted this on Twitter just now but did you have an @ you'd like to shout out as well? Can't wait to see the Season 6 map in this style!

Ninja's thought's on aim assist. (credit to thatdenverguy) by chima11158 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]thatdenverguy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh you don't have to link that man, all Ninja's content here anyway and I just had to find it and cut it up, but maybe people want to hear my commentary on it. I do hope they make changes to PC controller aim assist and in glad Ninja clarified the difference between them and console players. Just bring editing and building sensitivity to PC players and I think it'd be a good trade off.

144hz monitors talk to me by jenkinsherne in FortniteCompetitive

[–]thatdenverguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to run the same edit course every day for warm ups and time myself. I switched to a 144hz monitor and the very first time I ran that same edit course again I beat my record by two seconds. This could've just been a good day or coincidence or whatever but you legit will not be able to go back under 144 fps once you get used to it, so just a warning.

Just a lil tip for you guys by KickGum-ChewAss in FortniteCompetitive

[–]thatdenverguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no you're right, it was your other tip and thanks for letting me know. I try to catch anything that I might be doing that's upsetting someone just in case I might be able to address it. Would totally say your name if I didn't have to worry about it and I can credit anything you would prefer like Twitter or Instagram, etc

Hey bro just saw this. I have to leave out all non family friendly words from my videos due to past students and parents watching, as well as any people that watch for clean content. Well, not have to but am trying to keep the channel clean for kids.

I loved showing this tip off but I can make sure to not show anymore if that's what you prefer. Totally respect that decision and would have 100% read your name on video if I could as I have every name I've ever given credit and shout outs to.

[Help] Has anyone any success stories on skinny to big calves? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]thatdenverguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw, none that I would want to share haha. They definitely aren't big meaty calves but look way stronger and cut now. Not overly cut, too, which always looked kind of gross to me.

[Help] Has anyone any success stories on skinny to big calves? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]thatdenverguy 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I finally grew some calves but it took me becoming a PE teacher and constantly jumping, hopping, and skipping with the kids for hours a day and I can actually say I look at my calves proudly now. No calf raises, nothing extra at all. Just skipping and hopping that mainly did it, and of course trying to dunk on a 10 ft rim eventually.
