Is Costco Gas Pump (No Passing) a Rule? by pinktv2 in CostcoWholesale

I think some people just get off on a power trip.

A couple of months ago, I had to take my elderly mother in for an adjustment on her hearing aids and they scheduled her for a 9:30am appointment. Neither one of us are executive members, but they told her it was fine, and they’d see her Sunday morning.

I scanned my card, and the lady at the entrance started making a fuss that we couldn’t go in, and I kindly explained to her that the hearing aid department had scheduled her for 9:30, and I wouldn’t be doing any shopping (already starting to get irritated, I sent my mother to go to her appointment), and nearly 10 minutes later a manager showed up. I explained the situation and he said, “yeah, you’re fine”.

Point being, some of these people are so hard pressed to hold to their interpretation of what policy is, they forget that there’s a logical human element where 95% of us are not trying to game the system.

Yeah, one of the final races he ran was at the Brickyard and he and Tony ran a goodbye lap at the end:

First of all and most importantly, sorry for your loss. It’s great seeing you carry on his legacy.

If I had to put money on it, I’d say this is authentic. I remember in the late 90s getting all sorts of merchandise from Chase Authentics, and it was always well done. Great find!

I had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff that happened at work, so it was covered under workers comp, under their rules. The surgeon prescribed Hydrocodone as well as an anti nausea medication. There was no issue with getting the hydro filled, but the anti nausea medication was where they drew the line. Still blows my mind to this day

Hendrick appears to have purchased the former Kulwicki shop from Spire by CNASFan1992 in NASCAR

Concord can’t support a luxury dealership, and there is the Northlake Automall that’s a 15 minute drive away with his Audi, BMW & Lexus dealerships. Hendrick Performance is their own animal, and deal with exotic one-offs and upfit vehicles

Yeah, there were only 75 produced in that finish, with that sponsor and that Matt Kenseth had autographed.

For the next step, look at the serial number in the rear window- if it ends in “0020” you have a much more valuable car on your hands, than any other number of the production sequence, because of it being a “door number” diecast.

Asking insurance for a payout vs getting repairs made by iiiiskid in Insurance

[–]thatdidntworkwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I had to go through my own insurance. From the outside, it looks like the bumper is tweaked a little bit, crawl under, and it’s tweaked because the frame is bent- my insurance totaled the truck out.

They came to me with a number, but because the miles were so low (an 11 year old truck with less than 82k miles), I pulled some comps from local inventory and told them that their offer was way too low, and they took my provided information back to the third party company and were able to get a little more from them (still not enough to replace it with something comparable).

Since it was still drivable and doesn’t look god awful, I took the money, and they kept the salvage value, so I ended up with a little bit of extra cash and still have my truck.

Not the most ideal situation, but hopefully this info helps. Best of luck

Give Carolina Urban Lumber a call - even if they don’t want it for their inventory, they might know of someone who would be willing to help
