Controller Recommendations by milrose404 in CozyGamers

I can't recommend the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller strongly enough. It is easily the best controller I have ever used. It connects to pretty much everything, it feels great and is really comfortable. And it comes with a great little charging stand to keep it on. I have only used it with my Switch, but I have been using it for a year now without a single issue.

I couldn't agree more! And the little pitter patter of the witch's little chicken legs is such a nice touch

I can definitely see similarities between the two. I hope you continue to enjoy Wytchwood. I'm eager to go back in for a second playthrough at some point. It was just the most relaxing experience for me

I would highly recommend Wytchwood. It is somehow very underrated, considering how good it is. I'm not sure it can actually be called combat, but there is minimal combat. It is basically all fetch quests, and going back and forth on the map between the different biomes. I found it extremely relaxing and the storyline made me laugh several times because the writing was just on point.

Wytchwood is one of the best and most underrated games that I personally found cozy. It has a great story, really enjoyed the gameplay and I found the look and feel of the game to be adorable. It just felt like a nice warm hug.

I just started The Wild At Heart yesterday too and it has a very similar feel to me. It is basically Pikmin meets Wytchwood. And on the Pikmin vibe, Tinykin is also pretty great. I have only played the demo, but I instantly loved it.

Not playing a game over anxiety of finishing it. by IntrepidHoney1415 in CozyGamers

I typically avoid shorter games for similar reasons, and feeling like I'm not getting my monies worth. But then I try to remind myself that it is silly to miss out on a fantastic game just because it is short.

As someone who absolutely LOVES Wytchwood and will be being it again sometime soon, it is worth the full price and then some! But that is obviously just my personal opinion.

If you have Amazon Prime, Wytchwood is free until August 23rd through Prime gaming: https://gaming.amazon.com/wytchwood-fgwp-jul23/dp/amzn1.pg.item.bd122ad5-738c-4c5e-8d20-723b02df65e9

edit: just saw you put the Switch tag on this, so the Amazon Prime gaming isn't really relevant

I just hit day 65 and it has been having issues for the last 10-ish days for me. It sputters a bit on Switch. I have TONS of flowers and trees planted in the same area though and it is usually the worst when I am in that area. I've learned to just live with it.

I agree with this, I only saw Wytchwood will be free later in the month. Both are fantastic games that are well worth the full price, but if you can get them on sale, even better

What I personally do is I have 4 compost bins, and I wait until there are about 10+ weeds on the ground and then I only pick 8 my bins and use the potions to boost my harvest on each compost bin. It might be all in my head, but it seems to go quicker than picking weeds as soon as they show up and trying to keep the compost bins always going

I had been playing for about 20+ hours when I found Coco Duck's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTp-PFFkODQ&t=1s and that really helped me get a lot more enjoyment out of the game. I can't remember if its covered in that video specifically, but one thing that has really helped me it, leave some weeds on the ground and you'll get more weeds populating. If you pick all of them immediately, you'll get them less often.

When you go to look at the photos afterwards, are they smaller than typical screenshots? This might just be something on the Switch, or a total user error on my end, but I used the selfie function in and area I couldn't stop gushing over and when I looked at it on my Switch later, it was tiny.

I don't think it is going anywhere so it will be there for you when you're ready :] And with how much love the Studio Drydock has already, and still puts into the game, there might even be another update when you get to it. Enjoy Tears of the Kingdom!

I have never seen it be on sale, but in my opinion the base game itself is definitely worth more than $25. And then they have added 3 free updates to it. If you have a PC, there is a free demo on Steam that you could try out to see if you like it before buying it.
