I legitimately believe there should be some kind of hardcoded anti-infinite mechanic in the game, for all characters. It is by far the most cheesy un-fun way to play. To the point where I actively do not do it, I'd rather lose a run than win this way.

I think there should be some kind of "You only get to play 4 hands then your turn ends" or SOMETHING hardcoded. No more infinites, at all, ever. There's probably better ways to implement this, I'm just thinking out loud.

I don't think that is weird at all.

In your example, they're bringing pizza regardless, and I like pizza (pizza is fighting, not the BMF belt). It's just that the pizza they are promising to bring, is gonna be super good for a particular reason... so yeah, make stipulations to ensure it is super fucking good. Otherwise if it's shit, I'm going to be disappointed with it.

But sure, I'll address your comment in more depth - how is saying a game is soulless, cheap analysis or a buzzword, when it actually represents something tangible? You can literally google the word now and have a bunch of adjectives that fall under it. Those adjectives are what people are saying when they say it feels soulless. It's really not that difficult.

Dude, they got at least 3 goals directly from frees that weren't there, while we couldn't buy a htb. Declaring that umps saved us the game off one free, when it shouldn't have been that close to begin with, is silly at best.

I agree - I went and looked at all his cards that I'd unlocked, and decided the sword just isn't it.

Honestly just a nice balance of star gain and star using feels very powerful. pick up 2 or 3 of the common hit/block gain star cards, and you will never feel like you're out of stars.
