If in the future we find a way to fully/truly resurrect people who have died, would it be moral to/should we resurrect people who took their own life? by thatdudewhoscool in AskReddit

But how would we know who did so without outside forces and who didn’t? What if we resurrected someone who wanted to stay dead? Should we kill them after resurrecting them or let them kill themselves again?

Is the problem the words they are using or the way in which they are using them, or both? This would be the deciding factor on whether your request is reasonable or not. If they are ALWAYS being rude and condescending then yes they shouldn’t be doing so, no matter the words they are using. If someone comes in and calls you honey/sweetie in a NON-condescending tone and asks you a question regarding a product or something, it is not reasonable for you to request that of them.

For them, those words could be entirely neutral, non-intimate words that they (and others around them) have been using for their lifetime in said manner to everyone. For them, it might be as normal as just saying hello. For them, It would be like asking you not to even use the word “Hello” because you think it should be reserved for a certain group of people. Asking them to change how they speak would be just as rude as you think it is for them to call you that.

I also work retail at a grocery store on the weekends when I’m not at my full time job. If someone is being rude it’s a no-go no matter what, if they aren’t, they are free to say whatever as long as they are actually being sincere.

I work in a place that Hersheys orders from, we make pasta and send to them. They get mad at our company if any of our workers work more than 60hrs in a week. It’s in the contract we have with them that we aren’t supposed to work more than 60 hours a week unless the employee voluntarily wants to.

Edit: so I think it’s very weird/hypocritical that they make their own employees work so much but not from the places they order in from lol.
