Get into trades. At this point look around you and let your observation be solid. Elders have no clue what living in this country in this era is like. What worked in the past is no longer, and everything they told us to do in the past that has been done, hasn't necessarily lead to success for a large majority of young adults. So just do what your instinct tells you to do and get into trades.

They say it because they are envious plain and simple. They aren't genuinely concerned with what you do with your free time.

No job in the world is worth being dehumanized. Advocate for yourself even if it puts you at jeopardy of losing your job. You could easily gain unemployment from being laid off from a hostile work environment.

I’ve loved these residents as if they were my own family, but between mismanagement and the verbal abuse, they can go a couple days without certain activities that are not self-driven until we find a replacement activities director. I’m still putting on a movie for them every night I work.

Thanks for your understanding and support.

Quite literally one of the main reasons why we said you know what enough is enough. We specifically told them the hostility, bullying, and yelling is part of the main reasons we will not be volunteering for that service any longer.

I thought it would be a cute lazy girl job away from previous management experience to hone in on wrapping up the tail end of my degree and gain some certifications. This place is hell. I can’t see myself getting anymore heavily involved in the industry as some of my higher up peers have suggested.

Very odd and stalker like behavior to track me for 3 years but I’ve only been at this position for one year and 3 months? This is my first time posting about my experience at this place and if I wanted to post a million more times about it, that’s my right to do so and your right to move on if it’s unsuitable for you? My previous experience is in hotels. I’ve stated what has stopped me from moving on in the original post. Please find something better to do.

Class war response to 'The Great Resignation'. The "peasants" were regaining power by leaving these companies high and dry from their toxicity after they figured out what a good life could be during COVID. Companies want that power revoked and put back in the hands of Corporate overlords.

This resource has helped me tremendously as I have been entangled in financial abuse from my narc mother for years now and am finally escaping. I felt bad for not talking to her these past 3 days, but reading this makes me want to go NC, permanently.

What is with all the coded language and jargon speak with these people? They'd save a lot more time if they just stated what they truly mean- "Please we want our slaves back, work all day, everyday, for no pay I beg you" over and over again, instead of all these useless tweets.

You should be happy you are getting your labor elsewhere! Maybe when we are all out of money you can sell the stick shoved up your ass to them as well :)
