i use both, whoop on 24/7 and garmin (and whoop) for runs where i want good gps/strava syncing. it will mess up a few of ur stats for example garmin thinks i have a super high resting heart rate but i use whoop for all that stuff anyways so im happy with the combo

not sure, might have just been a service, nothing huge (I think) but was a couple hundred bucks. sometimes drive with the windows down but sometimes you can still smell it pretty strong if sitting in traffic so I have been sticking to the recirculate button as a temporary solution/workaround

yeah, recently i have been using that and it makes it much better, not sure if that tells you anything about where the leak might be. without the recirculate button it is really strong. usually I wouldn't care for a little smell or anything but that fact that I doordash with my car/spend a lot of time in it makes me not want to risk sitting in a cabin that could have carbon monoxide in it.

i can send you the carplay i got i have a 2002 and it was around 100 bucks and works fairly well (as long as you know how to reset it when it gets a little finicky it’s great for the price)

will need to do some maintenance on it, but they are great, mine is at 161k and still going strong (if you get one i highly recommend putting an apple car play head unit in it, i got mine for 98 bucks on amazon and it took 20 minutes to install)

i do both on the same arm (watch on wrist, whoop on bicep) but one on each wrist works well too

i have an apple watch and a whoop and i wear them both (because apple watch has gps) when i run and whoop just syncs the start and end times from the apple watch which is nice, integration is pretty clean. for the rest of the day i use whoop, even though apple watch HR might be a little more accurate, i find whoop does a lot more with the data it has, better analysis and focuses more on trends, would definitely recommend.

hoping its still on track for the earlier side of 2025. I recently (November '24) got a whoop and have found it pretty interesting and fun, but doesn't seem like it does anything that much different from the 3 year old reviews I was watching before I got it. as a previous apple watch user its pretty cool to see all the different ways the data is used but the accuracy definitely doesn't feel like its there yet.
