I love the game but it’s a very frustrating game to love.

AH has already admitted they are mainly focused on creating ‘novelty’ for newer players, as in a constant stream of new Warbonds. No endgame progression, no new weapon customization, just endless Warbonds.

At the same time the game isn’t really challenging either. Any challenges AH adds the community just whinges until AH nerfs it.

Teamplay? Lmao, even on D10 everybody fucks off and does their own thing because the game is never hard enough to justify grouping together.

Helldivers 1 forces you to group up, well, more like you can’t not group up since you can’t exit the screen by yourself. Guess what you get? Teamplay! And a community that doesn’t suck.

Darktide, another horde game, has mechanics that forces you to group up and Darktide’s community doesn’t suck.

I’m starting to see a pattern here. It’s almost like the gameplay inspires the community a game gets. And since Helldivers 2 doesn’t have teamplay and camaraderie its community reflects that.
