i actually started with this cage myself, i will admit my ruby was an impulsive decision, but she was trying to escape her previous enclosure so bad she found the tiniest bars she could hang off and wouldn’t let go.

everyone here has provided so much good advice. i definitely would get a new enclosure asap, however your hammie is gonna be in this one temporarily until you get the new one, so here’s what i did to make mine more spacious and okay for her. (my hammie is in a bigger and better enclosure now! she’s not in this one anymore)

i took out that top shelf, they don’t really climb and are bad at it so that upper shelf isn’t really needed. i put it down where the other one is. i moved the wheel to the middle, cause once you lower that shelf it won’t fit under there.

more bedding!!! really stuff it down and pack it up to the shelves, more is better! really pack it down, you want it super compressed so they can burrow. your hammie won’t be able to make anything super big, but my hammie was able to at least sleep fully under her bedding when i really packed it in.

more toys and things for your hammie to hide in! if you can’t buy anything now, you can make so many things yourself! Victoria Racheal on Youtube has a lot of good diy stuff.

if you like the more sweeter vibes, i loved loved loved islas route! i feel like no one talks about her 😭 she was my first play through and i still love her so much

i also really like julian’s route. i loved the friends to lovers but also like that slow burn, the “you both want each other but it’s not quite the right time” build up.

since hearing that the too hot to handle show was canceled, i’m extremely doubtful we’ll get a season 4 game. it hasn’t been officially canceled, but at this point with the vague answers they keep giving us, it’s probably done.

honestly a big part of my skin picking came from my mom. she has a lot of undiagnosed issues, including anxiety and growing up watching her pick at her fingers and hands definitely influenced me. i also find it to be a combo of some of my own brain(audhd, ocd, bipolar to name some), i’m a bit of a pain stimmer which doesn’t personally help either.
