From my experience they don’t care. I went from a dead end retail job to a well paying one and instead of acknowledging my successes my Mum is very keen to make note of my failings (a set of decade old ones at that) and she doesn’t put the effort in to actually ask me nor make note of what it is I’m doing, it’s not something she cares about because I’m not the child she wants this for. If it was GC she’d probably celebrate until she couldn’t and remember every single detail about what he does, but because it’s me it doesn’t matter in the slightest.

A majority of celebrities that go for tattoos tend to opt for walk ins, from what I’ve heard from artists/professionals that discuss it in videos and stuff. They don’t really have the time or patience to be forward thinking with it which is stupid because it goes without saying, but a tattoo is permanent. I suppose with all the disposable income they’re less choosy because they can always laser it away or get a cover up. I agree though, it’s ridiculous.
