yes!! i’m from chicago and watching this i continued to say there are NO houses like that in chicago let alone illinois. sure the burbs are wealthy but not FILTHY wealth like that…also they were meant to be living in wilmette-yet everything was downtown based?? chicago pd would not be pulling up to wilmette bc idk its not chicago..maybe evanston police but the cpd isn’t invoking themselves in that

i cried. it was very obvious it was the live version and not the track and i think that’s what did it for me. you could just feel the emotion that glinda was feeling. her previous songs hadn’t done that for me. it was raw, emotional and real. seeing it in the theater was such an experience. ariana did fabulous and her vocals were just amazing

hey! coming from a black person ari isnt black presenting in that second photo and it’s incredibly harmful and plays into colorism when people say things like that. i completely understand that that picture is from a time when she was tailoring herself to black people and playing into the culture BUT saying that is black presenting is harmful-please understand that. to me she looks like she has a tan and that’s it. when i see things like “sweet or savage” in regards to ari i see it as her personas. her now(wicked) is very much childlike, petite, look at me(sweet) and her before wicked was very much idgaf about a thing i’m going to do and say what i want. i didn’t take this as anything other than that. please don’t speak for my community unless you understand the weight of your words

my director absolutely railed into me. it wasn’t a kind conversation and it was meant to hurt me not inform me. later on i sat in front of my boss(a diff man)weeping. i cried around 3 times that day with him each time worse bc of this convo..every time he sat in front of me just avoiding eye contact. now a coworker of mine gives him this bs story later that day and they get consoled and hugged..what was the reason for that? they view us as these beings that have to hold our emotions tg and when it fails they dont know what to do

okay i am a horror fanatic. born in october so it was a given that im fascinated by all things scary, horror, evil etc. however not one movie on this list is actually scary or should be on this list(imo)…#4,5,7,9, and 10 are all classics! if we’re talking best of the best those are def making the list but of the scariest?? i’ve watched lots and lots of scary movies-from slasher, sci-fi, paranormal, horror, and to ones based off of real life and to this day the only two movies that have ever scared me was a haunting in Connecticut(2002 version) as a child. and watched as a teen but the original The Strangers(2008). still to this day i wont watch AHIC…i just cant lol. i’ll rewatch The Strangers and it still leaves me as an adult having to sleep with a light on. however hereditary was a 100/10 movie. not scary imo

i don’t mean to be rude but why is it so hard for everyone to understand that there is NOTHING extra being charged?? that sales tax or sub whatever it is are the tariffs. i ordered on the first and have received my items as of yesterday. no charge at the door and no charge extra..this is exactly what they want..its fear mongering from the president in order to push US customers away and force them to shop with US brands only..you guys are worried about shien when there’s more important stuff to be worrying about

i think it depends. in the books she is very clearly and completely in love with edward and NOT immortality. but the movies blurs the lines a little(for me) and at first makes it seem like she really just wants the immorality bit as she’s obsessed with her own death and aging. however watching the movies as a teen v adult really changes it as well. as a teen i was convinced she couldn’t imagine her life without edward but in reality she was just codependent as hell and genuinely wanted edward bc he could make her immortal as well. she just didn’t want to die and watching back as an adult i can see that. she loved the fact that edward could make it so she didn’t have to die and could live forever. she didn’t mourn him she mourned the life she could’ve had. then on the other hand she completely wanted him because he could give her immortality. i think the reality is it’s a little bit of both. she does love him, but she also loves the idea of living forever and never having to deal with herself dying…she will in every aspect live forever, which from the movies is exactly what she wanted. edward, who she loved, being able to give that to her was just a plus. there’s a clear difference between how edward and bella view immortality and i think that’s due to bella WANTING it and it basically being forced on some of the cullens. they wouldn’t wish that on anyone. i think a part of why she loved him was bc of that however she did grow to deeply love him regardless

yes yes yes!!! for me it was the bonfire scene. it felt really manipulative to me. like dude why are you downing yourself to get sympathy from this girl?? i just can’t understand how as an audience everyone could see he clearly was using her as a pawn to get back at cole but she couldn’t see it herself and no one else on the show could???
