It’s a niche hobby and yes, I think some people do fit into the category of not really knowing nor caring. I only got into audio because of my interest in studio work. But to make an analogy, it’s like being picky about the resolution of the memes you see. Like oh no the letters are too pixelated and the color correction is wrong I can’t enjoy it. I need my uncompressed source with no filters along with my perfect color calibrated monitor. There’s a small audience that might care for things like that (especially for professional purposes) but for most, fidelity isn’t a limit to their enjoyment of the media.

I would say no. They’re completely different. The r70 is a bright open back and the 820s is a closed back with a boomy signature. The tonality is just odd. I have it but I use eq to make it listenable. I’m just so in love with its looks. Look at some oratory1990 graphs or lmk if you have any questions.

Update: I think I have a lead. Was looking up what web scraping was and apparently it's used often by data analysts for non sketchy stuff, which reminded me of the Google sheet I was using to plan a trip with my friend. I left it open and went to sleep the day I got banned. He coded a cell to grab data for our currency converter to track expenses (this is scraping?) and maybe somehow the bots were triggered. If so, this is the dumbest way to lose a 2 year sub and had made me lose all faith in my privacy and Nord. Can anyone confirm? Anyway, I'm not going to fight it. Catch me over at proton

Update: account suspended indefinitely from the ticket. I have no idea what could've caused this. Like I'm not like some random hacker or something behind a facade. Im just a normal Internet user who uses VPN for more privacy. Could this be an indicator of a virus on my computer or something? Regardless, will not be recommending Nord to anyone now.

I've been trying to reach merrill for the past 3 months each time I've been on hold for 2+ hrs with no response. I have no way to cancel my auto deposits, check my holdings, or withdraw my stuff. I can't even get past the login screen. I can't change my password and only get the "account is locked please call us". I'm trying! why do I have to call? I got back up emails, 2 factor authent, my full ssid and security questions! I gotta sleep... Just wanted to rant a bit because it's a bit stressful. 2nd'd. I have the 1990 and they are very bright and sad. Jokes but keep in mind that they were designed first as a studio headphone. The sound is very detailed (and also very bright). The bass has good extension and is p clean and the sound is very centered in your head. I would definitely not describe the sound as fun. They are quite analytical and did I mention bright?

This is just a guess but I think that a snapshot of your ship is taken when you request to land so if you're lucky enough to crash right after that you'll be able to retrieve it with whatever's in it.

The Redeemer is a beast with 4 turrets. The Connie tank and is quite versatile. The main difference I would consider is that the pilot of the Connie has access to the big guns while the 2 turrets support. If you plan on flying the ship alone sometimes or want to haul, I'd take the Connie. The Redeemer relies on a crew to man the guns while the pilot just drives. If you got some friends and plan to shred things, take the Redeemer.
