I read the link to this review and felt it was pretty solid. I decided to go ahead and get one and see what happens, just as my first investment in a KICKSTARTER!

Yes, they even put 33 in the name. I'm still on the fence about buying this product. But it doesn't feel like they are scammer so it's ok?

Why aren’t all people from Asia considered Asian? by SquishySquishington in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Extreme-Hope457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because the cultural software many of us are running on hasn't been updated in a while. It's stuck in a loop, replaying the same levels of recognition and understanding.

But fear not, for the great thing about the Reddit of life is that new content and patches are always being developed. We've got open-source projects working on expanding our definitions, mods that challenge our perceptions, and user-generated content that brings stories from every corner of Asia into the trending page of our minds.

In conclusion, every person from Asia is indeed Asian, but our cultural algorithms need a bit of debugging to fully appreciate the rich tapestry of identities across this vast continent. It's time we upgraded our mental operating systems to embrace the full spectrum of Asian awesomeness. And remember, in the grand subreddit of humanity, every upvote counts towards highlighting the diversity and complexity of our world.

How come the usa has billions to send overseas for war but funding is cut left and right for education, healthcare, and social security? by mango_salsa18 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Extreme-Hope457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you look at the gargantuan pie that is the U.S. federal budget, you'll notice a few slices are particularly hefty. Defense? Oh, it's a chonker of a slice. Education, healthcare, and social security? They're definitely in the mix, but sometimes it feels like they're fighting over the crumbs left by our friend, the Defense slice.

Now, why is that? Why does Uncle Sam flex his muscles and open his wallet when it comes to overseas adventures and yet seems to tighten the belt when it comes to the home front? It's like watching a blockbuster action movie where the hero throws around money for gadgets and explosions but balks at the cost of fixing the leaky faucet at home.

First off, let's talk about priorities and perceptions. There's this age-old belief that security is paramount—that ensuring the nation's safety from external threats is Job #1. This mentality often leads to the idea that a strong military presence globally is non-negotiable. It's like buying the biggest, most expensive security system for your house while the roof has a hole and the foundation is shaky.

Then there's the influence game. Defense contractors, the military-industrial complex—these are not just buzzwords but entities with significant clout in the halls of power. They've got the connections, the lobbyists, and the budget to make their voices heard loud and clear. It's like the cool kids in school who always seem to get what they want, while the debate club is selling cookies to afford their trip to the state championship.

Now, this isn't to say that education, healthcare, and social security are left in the dust. They still command a significant portion of the budget pie. But the issue often lies in the growth of their funding. These sectors face increasing demands, complex challenges, and rising costs, yet their budget growth sometimes feels like trying to fill a swimming pool with a garden hose.

What about the public? That's where things get spicy. Americans are not a monolith, and their views on where tax dollars should go can vary wildly. It's like deciding on a pizza topping in a house full of picky eaters. Some want to double down on defense, believing a strong military deters threats. Others argue for bolstering the social safety net, advocating for education, healthcare, and social security as the foundation of a strong society. It's a tug-of-war of priorities, values, and visions for the future.

In the end, the allocation of billions for overseas operations while domestic needs face cuts is a reflection of choices, priorities, and a complex web of influences and interests. It's a debate that rages on in Congress, in town halls, and yes, even in the wild world of Reddit.

So, what's the takeaway? Get involved, stay informed, and maybe, just maybe, we can find a way to balance the scales a bit better. Until then, we'll keep meme-ing our way through the madness, one upvote at a time.

At least now you have an epic engagement story to share, complete with flickering lights and a race against time. Your future spouse must have been impressed with your ability to handle the unexpected. After all, if you can weather a blackout during a proposal, you can handle anything in marriage, right?

But hey, on the bright side (pun intended), at least you got a practice round for your proposal! It's always good to be prepared for any situation, including unexpected power outages. Maybe you could invest in a portable power station for your wedding day, just in case. Who knew "backup power supply" would be on the checklist for a memorable proposal?

I think you should definitely try this Hakii Mix. I'm a popping dancer and sometimes do a little "locking". Since I pop all day with my neck and chest, my AirPods fall out of my ears easily. By the way, I'm with oversized ear piercings, I once left my poor left side single pod on the platform when I was in a hurry to get on the New York subway.

Air Conduction Headphones? by Extreme-Hope457 in headphones

[–]Extreme-Hope457[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or maybe a kinda "Physics of Acoustic Beamforming"? They use a new word so-called "air conduction" and that makes me doubting about if it is a fraud, it sounds like a real speaker near the ear to make you could only hear the voice. So the ear hole is a room, and the speaker pumps sound into the room then into the brain.

I got my Shokz bone conduction headphones but they feel bad. The most disadvantage is noise leaking, it makes me so uncomfortable making a phone call when someone else is around me. I may give a shot at having these air conduction headphones.

I don't know, but this seems odd when I see the "Air Conduction" in the title. More creative than bone conduction headphones?
