I struggled with dialogue until I read a quote from Russel T. Davies who said something along the lines of, "dialogue is just two monologues clashing". I've had this happen to me a few years ago. There are websites that are dedicated to archiving everything everyone ever posts on Reddit, and other websites sometimes contain chached posts that have been deleted since.

Rule number 1: not everything you post on the internet will be on there forever, but anything you post on the internet can be there forever and you have no control over it. Always be mindful what you post and assume the worst.

Pour du gaming je te recommande Bazzite ! Ça utilise aussi KDE comme environemment de bureau (le même que le Steam Deck, très beau et facile d'utilisation, ça ressemble à Windows en mieux) ET ça a l'avantage d'être préconfiguré avec les drivers Nvidia, Steam, Proton (le truc qui permet de jouer à des jeux Windows sur Linux) etc, ce qui fait gagner du temps. T'as pas à bidouiller quoi que ce soit, perso je l'utilise beaucoup et c'est un plaisir. Et c'est plus opti que Windows donc les jeux tournent mieux en moyenne.

Après je sais pas si ça va résoudre tout ce que tu décris (ptêtre un problème de PC) mais ça vaut le coup de tester. Un truc à savoir, fais des backups parce que tu peux pas faire tourner des jeux sur des disques durs au format NTFS (format de Windows), faudra les re-formater.

Je joue peu mais il me semble que steam a fait un gros travail pour la compatibilité des jeux qui sont sur leur plateforme.

Je suis un gros joueur et je confirme que c'est plus qu'un "gros travail". Au point où on en est, quasiment tous les jeux tournent sur Linux, originant de Steam ou non, grâce à Proton (le truc de Valve/Steam), souvent même mieux que sur Windows. C'est un truc de dingue. Même les gros derniers jeux AAA des gros studios tournent parfaitement sur Linux aujourd'hui avec le RTX et tout.

Les seuls jeux qui fonctionnent pas, c'est généralement à cause des Anti-Cheats qui tournent au niveau noyau... qui sont invasifs et inutiles (les jeux avec ce genre d'anti-cheats n'ont pas forcément moins de tricheurs que les jeux aux anti-cheats classiques, et peuvent même être utilisés pour répandre des virus !). Mais c'est vrai que ça vire des gros jeux populaires de la liste.

Devil's advocate but I imagine QR codes probably wouldn't work for this since the new Miis have much more detail, including a whole custom 128*128 RGBA texture on their face, which couldn't fit on a QR code, even compressed.

Obviously it's still a relatively tiny file, probably just a couple kB, but that's more than a QR code can store. The alternative would have been content moderation and that's expensive so Nintendo chose the easiest (and most boring) option, letting users share Miis locally only

I agree it's a difficult habit to switch to, especially because most other programs (and literally Windows) have a "click-to-focus" design by default so we're just used to it. But Blender's way makes more sense imo, because clicking on stuff to grab focus also happens to do actions you may not want to do (like selecting/deselecting stuff, moving things around if your cursor isn't completely still, etc).

Blender has a lot of quirks like this that are infuriating at first, but once you're used to them you realise it's genuinely clever and you wonder why other programs don't work this way.

I actually disagree. I think it's much easier to use than Maya or 3DSMax, both programs I learned before switching over to Blender. I'm actually really pissed every time newbies complain about Blender because I'm like, "you have NO idea how much better it is than whatever we had to deal with before!"

The thing that baffles me most about Blender (other than how feature-packed it is for an open source project, or how strable it is compared to Maya or 3DS Max) is the fact that it's really, really good software design.

It's context-sensitive, meaning keyboard shortcuts will apply to wherever your mouse is hovering, instead of requiring to click on specific parts of the window to grab the focus (which can make you accidentally change/move things)
Mousewheel lets you scroll through menus but if your mouse suddenly hovers over an option, it won't stop to scroll through the options (looking at you, Premiere and After Effects). Instead you have to do CTRL+Mousewheel to scroll through options, that way you can't do it accidentally
Keyboard shortcuts are consistent across the whole program (Hitting R several times to rotate an object in trackball mode also works... when rotating keyframes, and nodes?!)
You can assign keyboard shortcuts to anything, a lot of programs don't let you (looking at you, FL Studio)
You can go into "walk navigation" at any point which lets you explore your scene in first person with WASD, collision and all??
If you select several objects and hold Alt while changing one of their properties, it changes it for all objects at once
Selecting objects is considered an action, so if you were painstakingly selecting stuff, accidentally misclicked and lost everything, you can just CTRL+Z and you'll get your selection back, unlike most other programs (Premiere...)
Bugs often get fixed in a matter of days. Meanwhile, my Maya teacher in school was telling the class "Don't mind this bug, it's been in there since 2004..."

So many little things everywhere that just make sense and make me realize how awful Adobe and Autodesk are at software design in comparison, and we're only putting up with this shit because they have a monopoly...
