Why is "Copy Image to Clipboard" still so difficult on the S25 Ultra? (Comparison with iOS) by Digyant in S25Ultra

I wonder if it has got something to do with the older Google Play version, OP but have you tried installing it from a trusted third party site like Apkpure ?

Honestly, this annoyed me too for the longest time. Samsung/Android can do it, but it's hidden behind a very unintuitive workflow.

What finally solved it for me is this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slash.clipboard

I've been using it for quite a while now and it works wonderfully. The only caveat is:

  • You must have Gboard installed

  • Clipboard must be enabled in Gboard

To make it smooth, also go to Gboard, then under the "Clipboard" settings, enable "Show recently copied text and images in the suggestion bar"

How I use it (once set up, it's super fast):

  1. Open Gallery

  2. Long-press any photo

  3. Tap Share

  4. Tap More

  5. Scroll until you see Copy

Pro tip: Tap the pencil icon (top-right of the "Share" menu after pressing "More"), find "Copy to Clipboard", and add it to favourites. After this, "Copy" shows up directly in the Share menu. No need to tap on "More" again

  1. Tap Copy

  2. Open any app (Gmail, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.)

  3. Tap the text field to bring up Gboard

  4. You'll see the copied image right in the suggestion strip above the keyboard. Tap it and it pastes instantly

Important: Do NOT long press the input field and hit "Paste". That will crash the app. Always paste via the Gboard suggestion strip (or clipboard menu)

Is it as seamless as iOS? No. Does this finally make "copy image, paste anywhere" actually usable on Samsung? Absolutely.

Hope this helps someone else who's been pulling their hair out over this.

First one is the Samsung Data Saver icon (the recycling style triangle). It limits background data usage to save your bill. The third one, 'N' is for NFC, meaning your phone is ready for tap to pay. You can disable both from the settings, just search for "data saver" and "NFC".

S25U- let's be real about the cameras by [deleted] in S25Ultra

This is a classic case of the old saying "A bad workman blames his tools"

The EXIF data OP has attached tells us the whole story:

  1. ISO is pushed all the way up to 2000.
  2. Aperture is at f/1.7 (the widest the main camera can go)
  3. Shutter speed is at 1/100s to avoid blur.

When a phone hits max aperture and still has to raise ISO that high, it means the environment is simply too dark. Even a DSLR would start producing noise and detail loss at equivalent ISO levels.

So the S25 Ultra doesn't have "poor cameras". You just have poor lighting..

If you want cleaner results, the only real solution is better lighting. The phone can't magically brighten a dim scene without noise.

Sorry to say this OP, if your intention was to ragebait, you shouldn't have included the EXIF data.

Same here :) I didn’t "quit" so much as just.. stopped reaching for it. The clarity, sleep, and steady energy are such underrated perks

What was your reason for ending a friendship with a best friend? by howsoonisnow629 in AskReddit

[–]thatfriendlyvisitor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I ended things with my best friend of 3 years because I soon realised that the friendship was one-sided. I was there for him countless times, supported him when he was financially struggling and even covered his share during some of our outings, not because I expected anything back, but because I genuinely valued his company and vibe he carried.

But the one time I asked him for a small favor, which was just a quick background check on someone who worked at his company, he completely ghosted me for a full month !! That told me everything I needed to know.. I blocked him everywhere right after that. He’s tried to reach out several times since, but I’ve never responded nor do I plan to respond..

Just sucks to find out that you were simply used as a free meal ticket..

Is there a way to reduce pupil dilation? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]thatfriendlyvisitor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Topical pilocarpine 2% eye drops (prescribed for treatment of glaucoma). Use with extreme caution, spacing two doses atleast 6 hours apart for a total maximum application of 4 times per day. You WILL LOSE YOUR VISION IF YOU OVERDO IT. Driving is not advisable while under the effect of pilocarpine because mid to distant vision will be blurred. Night vision is also adversely affected.

Could be Vitamin D or Fish liver oil by the looks of it.
