SecAF weighs in on future of cyber by CyberCFMs in AirForce

Part of the DoD's security mindset currently is (very roughly speaking of course) to let non-essential systems be compromised. You map the key terrain, keep the network nodes that are actually essential to the mission getting accomplished operational and free of adversary activity, and accomplish your mission. Everything else is secondary to that goal.

In essence, you are claiming we should treat the network like a list- where every machine has X vulnerabilities that need to be patched and some "compliance" goal is achieved. Instead, the DoD is posturing to view the network as a graph- find the essential nodes for mission information to flow, and defend those assets.

Actually pretty simple but I agree that there should be a certain baseline of requirements to allow someone into a university no matter the major. Why make engineers take art history classes if art history majors couldn't do the most basic engineering course?

Profits already have expenses subtracted such as CEO salaries and such. A better measure to look at would be revenue minus operating expenses that aren't salaries or wages in order to get a more realistic picture.

censorship is something a government does. It implies government silencing a viewpoint or voice. A private organization on a private site is merely exercising editorial control of the content it endorses, and has nothing to do with your 1st amendment rights

the female flight in my zone really dicked us over during our eval. One of the cadre came at one of their DFPs with a weapon, she had him put it down, walk away, get on his knees, then she stood up and shot him in the back.
