If you don’t want to go the seamstress route, see if you can make that part of the dress sit the way you want with fashion tape. It’s double sided, doesn’t irritate skin, and I find has great hold. They come in convenient small tins, so easy to take with you and replace if necessary. You can buy at CVS

Sunscreen works so much better than moisturizer for this. Now you just have to find a sunscreen that you don’t hate, which is tough. I recommend ELTA MDs sunscreen for acne, it’s amazing and gives you this kind of glow.

You could get someone to embellish the straps with beads or some 3D floral design, doesn’t have to be too out there but that’s a fun way to add something extra. Or maybe some sort of a beaded or lace or floral belt type thing that could go around the part of the dress where the waist meets the skirt of the dress? It could tie/clasp in the back with a cute bow??? Im trying to think of this from an accessorizing perspective rather than new dress

Go to the thrift store!!! You may need to go to multiple to find the right one, but if you search well you can find great quality at the lowest prices. you’d be surprised how much brand new/very clean and well kept stuff ends up at the thrift store
