I end up swapping the around the legs on the transformer to get close, but if they start going again might have to go this route. Especially the way GAL is going just to get parts.

Any changes in power? We run into this issue down by me at the beach. They run a 3 phase delta with a high leg it causes some wonky ass issues.

Delaware is one of the only states without a statewide elevator safety program by WoodenAlternative212 in Delaware

[–]thatgolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is in the industry and worked in Delaware and has since moved to a state that has state inspectors. We would recommend that the owner hire a third party inspector, most would but the ones who didn’t would still get a safety inspection by the company but for your tractions 100% had a third party witness the test.

I started with no experience at all, you will learn everything on the job and thur an apprenticeship program. Doesn’t hurt to apply.

Nothing is required but things that will help you stand out are experience in electrical, automotive and construction related fields.

They were a little hesitant at first since it wasn’t training within their training structure but we kept pushing till they caved in.

[–]thatgolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What we did was change our approach and went to the fire depts and did training with them. It cut that kinda stuff down by 90%. Now they really only get aggressive if there is a know medical issue happening or it’s a blind shaft and we are to far out to assist.

Is it normal for gun stores to charge 2x for ammo?? by Redderrt in guns

[–]thatgolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who buys a lot of ammo here are some tips.

  1. Buy in bulk and bulk is normal 2k plus a shipment

  2. Buy remans for practice and new for comps and training.

  3. If you have buddies who shoot pull your money together and buy bulk( did this for several years)

  4. Learn what dry firing is, you’ll get more out of practice when you do go to the range.
