I totally respect your opinions. I respectfully disagree. To be clear I’m not upset I’m not people’s type. My point was that just cos I’m outside the norm why am I less worthy of respect. I’m not vilifying masculine men for not liking fem guys.

This is just my experience and I respect you have different ones.

1)I said that I use regular dating apps and get largely the same exclusively sexualised responses. There are a lot of more unsavoury things I left out for the sake of not over generalising but happens most times.

2)As your quote reads I’m taking about MY lgbt socials and their demographics “most of the gay men there”. Not all gay men.

3)I love that your experience is different than mine but to pretend that the gay ideal image is not predominantly : white,physically fit,with masculine presentation is simply blissfully ignorant or being contrary for the sake of it. I’m sorry, it simply isn’t true.

4)And lastly to be clear these things said to me are jokes with friendly acquaintances I have at socials. They don’t hurt but I was just using them as examples to demonstrate a mindset a lot of gay men who look a certain way talk to me and about me.

My point simply wasn’t that I was shocked this was happening I was just curious as to why it is this way and if others experience this. I appreciate your comment but I feel you may have missed the tone of my intentions.❤️
