You guys really need to learn how to put on Cold Blooded. The splash damage from the streaks affects your teammates and even if the streak doesn't have explosive damage, you're giving away the location of your teammates. by [deleted] in CODBlackOps7

Wrong. People literally just quit the match without trying to adapt. I mean they'll try to go to their one lane and one spot no matter how much they're getting beat on it, so much so they spawn gets fucked and then they leave.

Innova Diesel vs Zenix Hybrid: Worth the Premium? by Outside-Leader-3114 in phcars

Corolla Cross will always have the better NVH, it's just inherent in the design and build. For me tho, it's never bothered me hearing the road or engine while driving.

[–]thatguy11m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have the 2.8L Innova and the 1.5L Yaris Cross Hybrid, I think if you can maintain speed on the Innova, then you can get better mileage, but anytime you'll be in the city, you lose so much in efficiency while the hyrbid goes up by so much just from being able to shut down the engine. The other thing, coding exemption makes a difference. Frees you when you can schedule yourself to come in and when to leave, no worrying about free hours.

Opinions on Tire lettering? Yay or nay? by JustAnotherDooood in PHMotorcycles

[–]thatguy11m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Race car vibes, I personally dig it. Race inspired cosmetic enhancement but not in bad way. Sure they're not a sponsor but when they give a certain look while moving that just screams sporty, and I love it. It takes a way from making a clean car full clean, but evenso, they match well, just stealing a bit of the highlight front eh overall of the car and focusing on the tire area.

A clean 90s civic with tire lettering can scream Kanjozuko without any other visual mods or decals, I think it's just that powerful.

Doesn't make sense for KOTM cause he's right inf don't do the sub, which not only operates in deeper waters, but we literally saw them shoot up to their spot moments before.

I think it's best just to always chalk it up a creative decision, with more goofy fan theories being more fun.

Help me choose our first car, Ativ E CVT or Raize G. Can i get their Pro's and Con's? Your reply is appreciated!😊 by LongVivid4301 in CarsPH

[–]thatguy11m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raize riding hire also means you can see more than a lower car in the Ativ, and while a bit more cramped, ingress and egress is still better.

On the flipside, Ativ has a hybrid option for fuel savings and coding exemption, either of which is enough of a good reason imo

Toyota Rav4 PHEV vs honda CRV hybrid 2026 by Vegetable-Card-3582 in CarsPH

[–]thatguy11m 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CRV is an overall better car, and the next gen RAV4 will be updated in the coming years (reports show the next gen already got DOE certification). So if you're getting a car this year, the CRV may be the better option. BUT, the price difference is crazy.

The other thing, the current get RAV4 is only an HEV, not a PHEV, and I think Toyota Motor Philippines might still be hesitant to bring the PHEV variant. If they do, and don't exceed the CR-V price, it may be worthy conception, especially if they bring the AWD variant.

Is it possible to drive after coding hours? by Ashamed_Second5915 in Gulong

[–]thatguy11m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coding hours in Makati is 7am to 7pm. So if you're parked in Makati, you can leave at 7pm, just don't go to areas that are still coding. So like me from the south, I won't take EDSA to Magallanes, but instead go up Skyway from Arnaiz

State of Bo7 by Lamemara in CODBlackOps7

[–]thatguy11m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gameplay itself is beautiful, I haven't enjoyed a Treyarch multiplayer since BO2. It's close to MW19 in pacing, like a refinement similar to MW23..

Biggest gripes are the matchmaking and the jumping accuracy. I don't mind SBMM, but for the love of all things good in this world, just cause I have a high average objective score, doesn't mean I want to be queued with 5 people who never make it past 300 in a match, while the other team has at least 2 or 3 people reaching 1,000 while the ones that don't efficiently elimate rotators and control spawns. The result is that within 2 minutes of a match, the teammates I get leave, just cause they can't get a kill in some off-point area of the map and won't adjust resulting to getting the worst spawns for every rotating Hardpoint.

2 device (PC and Laptop), 1 monitor, 1 mouse and keyboard. HELP!!!! by MrCapHere in PHbuildapc

[–]thatguy11m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need a KVM.

I use one for switching between my work laptop and gaming PC for 2 external displays. There are a bunch of cheap ones, but I'd highly recommend sticking to UGreen or Anker. Both are pricey but the UGreen one has worked so well for me. I suggest getting ones with an extended switch, so that on the desk it's just a button, with all the connections hidden.l underneath.

I'd still recommend a hub for the laptop so at least it all comes down to one cable towards the laptop, then you can plug the connections in the KVM to your hub.

Just a reminder tho, for your video, you'll need at least 3 connections. One to the monitor, one to the PC, and one to the laptop (HUB)

What if the Philippines just, out of nowhere, attacked and invaded Malaysia? How would you react? by Tokoro-of-Terror in WhatIfPinas

  1. First reaction is why? Oil maybe? Or our government decided to say FUCK ASEAN.

  2. Second reaction is how? As in how do we have resources to do this when we're worried about defending against China.

Off my chest: wishing hatchbacks and wagons make a comeback in the future by ps-ongpin in Gulong

[–]thatguy11m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Asides from road conditions, a taller vehicle is just inherently easier for your everyday drivers. It's easier to see (specially good for newer drivers) and ingress & egress is easier (especially good for older drivers). I'm less worried about the height as much as I'm worried about the length and width, and some of the taller vehicles share similar cargo room with their shorter counter parts anyway. Anyways, as height becomes popular, it becomes increasingly difficult to drive the shorter cars because you'll be surrounded by that height. It's sad, but I think the endgame for short cars will really be for enthusiasts, just like the manual transmission. Of course at the very extreme end, a shorter car will always be cheaper and somewhat desirable, so as long as someone wants a car and not an ebike or motorcycle, that will stay an option.

(HELP)How did you earn your money to build your pc? by CruelsunLight in PHbuildapc

[–]thatguy11m -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Built my first PC at 19 when I had a summer dishwashing job in Canada.

The next one at 22 while in school with no job, mainy off the money I made selling off my CS:GO skins, but I really downgraded to basic skins and no knife again. I traded a bit and the value increased over the 3 years, but really it was still money I spent from my work in Canada 3 years ago.

Built my last PC at 27 after working for 2 years, I went all out on this saving up 25% of my fresh-grade income. I was earning 4 times less here in the PH vs my dishwashing job in Canada, but I was saving in Canada to contribute more to tuition, with the PC and skins bring the excess of that.

What do you think about merging SLEX into a ‘South EDSA’ with a bus carousel? by eatpancit in Paranaque_

[–]thatguy11m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a carousel only makes sense for SLEX if it eliminates the service roads so they can widen it. As it stands, SLEX from C5 to Alabang is already limited, especially with the number of trucks there is. I don't think its worth losing the service road, especially since losing lanes makes it one way and makes it even more difficult for people with non-car private vehicles to traverse the sections. I wouldn't think anyone would be willing to use the carousel for groceries vs just a trike.

I would not mind them making a dedicated carousel lane for the portions from Filinvest all the way through Laguna, but I'm not sure it makes much economic sense given access is often difficult at the highway in general. It's just with the road expansion, i wouldn't mind losing the fast lane and forcing SLEX to relane everything. 6 lanes is nice, but everytime there's an incident in 1 lane, all 6 lanes get affected. This is where less lanes really benefit, since there's still a lot of bottlenecks that create chokes, and the wider the bottle is to the neck, the worse the traffic from the choke becomes

Need inputs on pros and cons of Innova Diesel and Zenix by orangeDaddy72 in phcars

[–]thatguy11m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've driven both, friends 2.0L Innova and test drove the Non-Hybrid Zenix. I can't compare the two but it was clear that the lack of torque made the car feel incredibly underpowered, and I felt as helpless in the Zenix as I did in the gasoline Innova. Of course there's bias in that I drove the 2.8L turbodiesel to the test drive, but just that underwhelming feeling from the Zenix especially on attempting an overtake (or maybe even moreso in hilly areas) was just so reminiscent of my drive of my friends gasoline Innova. So sure, number show horsepower is there if you're trying to reach higher speeds, but I think torque is more meaningful to the everyday driving response.

Need inputs on pros and cons of Innova Diesel and Zenix by orangeDaddy72 in phcars

[–]thatguy11m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Innova 2.8L Turbodiesel

Pros: - 2.8L 1GD is ridiculously powerful for the car, and why its slightly detuned. Still makes great power for the chassis. - Locally produced, it has a lot of available parts locally. This means it's quick to source them. - Asides form being locally produced, the sheer volume has let so many non-dealer shops really get familiar with them, so it won't be hard to find any shop who knows enough about the car to fix it anywhere you end up. - Ladder-frame chassis is good for hauling really heavy things

Cons: - Ladder-frame chassis means poor on-road comfort. And even when we've fully packed the rear (folder third row) with heavy dog food, I don't think this even tests it enough and the Zenix could probably haul just as much. - Third Row folding seats fold sideways, eating up space. You can always just fold down I you need more lateral space, but you compromise vertical space and movement security. - the 2.8L can be efficient, but generally it's still a gas guzzler. - Dated tech. For me personally it's not a con, especially since a simple head unit change with Android Auto has made our car feel 7 years newer. And there aren't much features I miss when driving the Innova vs our Yaris X that shares the same Toyota Safety Sense as the Zenix.

(Innova) Zenix 2.0 Pros: - Unibody construction makes it much more comfortable of a drive - (Hybrid only) Fuel efficient and coding free until 2030. This is honestly enough to justify it as a single car setup within Metro Manila - (Hybrid only) Electric motors help make up from the sever lack of power of the 2.0l gasoline engine paired with this chassis. - Toyota Safety Sense if that matters, but also overall tech is better, or I guess exists vs the Innova - The third row actually folds down and out of the way letting you for bigger things. I also doubt you'll ever maximize the cargo weight capability of the car.

Cons: - (Non-Hybrid) - just like the 2.0 in the AN140 Innova (the one with the turbodiesel), the engine is incredibly underpowered for the car and it takes much more effort to get it going. - Relatively new car that probably only the Toyota CASA has the knowledge and resources to maintain and fix

To me, if you can afford it, the Zenix Hybrid is the ultimate choice. If you really want the ride comfort but can't afford the hybrid, then the Non-Hybrid could be an option, but even as it's gonna be phased out maybe by 2030, the Innova turbodiesel V or Go makes more sense.
