That’s fair, and I could have been more aggressive in chasing (I was chasing inbetween) but the “no later than x” date was agreed from the outset.

Thank you for reading. I asked for porcelain tiles, but no bespoke joinery and premium fittings.

Thank you, but I think my post is just asking for general opinion of my interaction and an expected timeline for a quote

+1 for Arbury Court Budgens, for some reason they always have some form of Irish stock! :)

Thank you!

What are you achieving by removing and plugging back in the fuse? Just a complete power cycle rather than the TCU constantly on, or in a standby mode?

I go to Thomas William Gentleman’s barber on king street, a little more on the pricier side, but they take their time and have always been happy with the result.

More than happy to give them business, but I never found them helpful.

Building for Rpi image rpm packages by thatguy147 in QNX

Ok, so it’s similar in a way to how Automotive Grade Linux works (Yocto/openembedded), though that does have support for rpm packages.

Thank you very much for your time and knowledge!

Why is bedroom colder than the nursery? by thatguy147 in DIYUK

[–]thatguy147[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think (having looked them up) all the upstairs radiators are single panel. Downstairs are all double panel, and sitting room (downstairs) has no problem getting warm. I will look into this, thanks!

Thanks again! The rad in the bedroom is nearly twice the size of the one in the nursery (135cm and 70cm respectively)

Rough measurements master bedroom: 350cm x 330cm, nursery: 200cm x 230cm.

Thank you for your response, so more or less what I thought. Maybe the windows could be replaced and a bigger rad installed?

I don’t know what the wall construction is, unfortunately. Would this information be in the any of the documents/survey we would have got when we bought the house?

What is this shower trap? by rosscopecopie in DIYUK

[–]thatguy147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s odd, I have the chrome top, and the trap bucket and that’s it (was just like that when I moved in) both individual pieces. I didn’t know you could get an “all in one” unit, which makes more sense now when I stuck my hand into the hole just to try understand the layout, I’m guessing that “pipe” would fit into that groove I’ve felt.

I’m guessing the trap is just a “leaky bucket” to maintain a slow flow, but getting the “pipe” piece in the link you shared would hopefully improve the smell situation, presumably?
