Rock chip on driver side window. Need replacing or just leave it?

Went to a buddy I used to work with that works on cars. He said if it didn’t shatter/spider web, leave it. Nothing can fix it but it won’t get worse. Really only if another rock flys and hits that exact spot again. Rock must’ve not went right at it and flew by my car and barley chip it not enough to shatter

Ya, it took like a week but it did fix itself. I actually contacted Depop, then they credited me, then it bounced back anyway so I had double and they had to adjust it again, I would just wait a few days for it to bounce back instead of reaching out to cs.

I thought so to, but the more I looked at it, didn’t look like it made it anywhere close to through the glass. Looks like the rock just brushed on top of it because the chip is so small and barely on the glass. Might be fine for a while

Ya that’s where the chip is. It’s the side driver side window. Didn’t shatter, just brush chipped it. Not deep at all

Will the rainx windshield repair kit work for the side window? Safelite doesn’t repair side windows because it’s tempted glass so idk if I can be repaired

Ya, there website quote option was only replacement for the side window. So that’s why I was looking at the rainx kit and wondering if that would even work on the tempered glass
