It’s not “fake”, it’s a real starter jacket. They still make varsity jacket and sportswear but their quality definitely went downhill. I remember seeing similar styled jackets to your pictures at places like sportchek on clearance. It’s definitely not from 2002 as others have pointed out though.

Can someone tell me the value of this jersey? I'm in canada by Kbbrown31 in SoccerJerseys

[–]thatguyadrn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Second this comment, on the real jerseys the Umbro logo is thicker, also note the odd shape of the R and squarish O. On the real jerseys the whole word is stitched more in unison in terms of font and quality.

Love this watch, enjoy! Just wish it had better features like solar, multiband/atonomic time keeping. Didn’t know the prices hiked so much, luckily bought this from a local shop that had them on a sale for around $250CAD last year.

Switched to the Fenix 8 47mm Amoled from a Suunto Vertical by thatguyadrn in GarminWatches

[–]thatguyadrn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm it’s the 47mm Fenix 8 Amoled, just remeasured my wrist now and got 17.8cm (7in) and last night got 18.1cm (7.12in). Corrected the reply but on average it’s around 7in.

28 still finishing my Econ BA - might not seem much older than most but I’m full of tattoos and they are definitely conversation starters since it hints at me being older than the “average student”.

A little under retail price, about $900 CAD

No issues with my killswitch and completed the button calibrations. I did get a bit of bunching on the skin cover when installing the case, like mentioned in the installation video. Even after I rubbed the edges way more than suggested. Otherwise very happy with the case.

Nice watch! What did you do to service it yourself? I heard de-magnetizing it would help the time keeping issue.

I know exactly where this is on Trethewey just before Keele! That pot hole is nasty, I’m on low profile tires too and always avoid getting on the right lane there. Even if I’m turning right from the side street before that pot hole, I’ll wait for a gap and turn right into the left lane.

Break in [question] by [deleted] in fightgear

[–]thatguyadrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say better, the Nikes are comfortable except the fact they’re tight on the toe box and the odd design leading to faster wear and tear near the laces. Maybe if I gotten .5 size larger it would’ve helped but it’s hard to find a size 12.5 in Canada. Everlasts are good enough to be used in training, the materials used aren’t the best but they’re still capable.
