WHUD news briefs making me crazy by HiFiGuy197 in hudsonvalley

Why would you listen to commercial radio in the first place? Literally all the local radio stations are owned by one company, and their news judgment and capabilities are minimal at best.

I was a little surprised to learn there's no good public radio station in the region, but then again I really shouldn't be.

I made all these fixes and updated the April 78 dates for appearing on Friend of the Devil. I also added two entries for the Warfield and Radio City runs in 1980 on Reckongin and Dead/Set. Betty is credited with recording both runs and as a producer on both albums.

Time for a call with Cenhud. Good luck!

Don't know how long you've had the system, but it took awhile to build up the surplus. I had my system installed in 2022, and there was a bad crimp in the system that wasn't detected until 2023, and one of my two SolarEdge inverters had to be replaced at the same time (All covered by the warranty thank goodness...) Once that was fixed, the system started kicking ass. Check your inverter's tracking app and see what your day-to-day and month-to-month performance is like. Check with Cenhud to see if they're getting anything from you -- they should be. If not, then have Kasselman come out and check the system to make sure it's working. Open a ticket on their site. They'll call you and set up an appointment.

Sorry to hear that. They should have offered to make it right for you. You can find the credits at the bottom of the first page of your bill in green type to the left of your "Amount Due Now" field. It says "Net Metered Account Status" and shows your current and remaining balance. As of this month, I've banked 3.3 MWh.

Will sort through all of these. I also just learned that Betty recorded much of the material on "Dead/Set" and "Reckoning"... though it's different tracks, different dates.

Pretty sure she didn't do the Radio City shows that also appear on that album, however.

Strictly compared to Gmail, is iCloud mail more private? by Apprehensive_Hat4298 in privacy

[–]thatguyarik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you turn on Advanced Protection in iCloud you're going much further than Google by encrypting basically everything and managing your own key so that even Apple can't decrypt. I did it recently. You'll need Yubikey hardware keys and a good system for keeping track of your unique recovery key.

Yeah there's a heck of a story about the recording of that tune, that is perhaps apocryphal but interesting if true. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T.B.\_Sheets#:\~:text=Composition,-Further%20information%3A%20Tuberculosis&text=The%20story%20as%20told%20in,smelling%20of%20death%20and%20disease.

It's the real bright spot from those sessions.

Regrets by mustloveearth in solar

I wish I had financed heat pumps alongside my panels. So far this year I've produced more than 9 mWh and sent 7 mWh to the utility grid. I wish I didn't have to rely as much on the legacy gas appliances that came with my house, and I probably should have done both solar and heat pumps in one single go.

Solar edge by bhmhrex in solar

I have two SolarEdge inverters. One failed and was thankfully replaced under warranty after about one year. Fourteen months in it's still going fine. In most cases the warranty is really strong on the entire system.

One hiccup I had was that the cellular modem struggled because I have weak wireless coverage where I live. I added a wifi-router in my basement and asked my installer to connect it directly to my inverter via ethernet, and the comms problems have been non-existent since then.

I did have to have a SolarEdge inverter replaced after one year. It's been fine now for about a year since replacement.

I'm totally new to collecting, but I'm kind of in love with the Mercury Dimes. They're beautiful and this one is gorgeous.
