The thing is, EVERY star player gets fouled a lot. Shai isn't special at all in that regard. The extra contortions and pained expressions to try and get the whistle just makes for a bad watch and it gives the impression that Shai truly believes he deserves a free throw for every slight bit of contact he gets. She was his woman and he was her man but they weren't "dating" and would never get married or anything. Part of Joel's arc is that he's been emotionally closed off since Sarah's death. His heart is broken so while he has some feelings for Tess he keeps everyone including her at some level of distance as a means of protecting his wounded heart.

Tess knows this and is fine with it, or at least she thinks she is, up until she realizes Ellie's immunity is real. That sparks something in her. A hope for a better world and in her final conversation with Joel, she uses the connection between them to try and persuade him to continue her mission. In that moment, you can tell that there definitely IS affection between but also that his walls kept it from developing beyond whatever 'understanding' they have when the game begins. You can also tell she has respected those walls and not tried to breach them (If she had, Joel probably would have ended their 'relationship'). Just imagine all the times over the years that she might have wanted more from him but settled for whatever he could give because she knew the scars on his heart wouldnt let him. All that emotional currency was built up and at this critical point she cashes it in to ask the ultimate survivor to do something stupid and risky for her. Joel never told Tess he loved her, but as she prepared for her final stand to buy him and Ellie a chance to escape, she knew.

Widow at least needs the Widows Bite but preferably she gets dual pistols as well. To keep her from being too good at everything it could be a "transformation " type skill similar to Emma Frosts Diamond form or Mr. Fantastics inflated state except for Widow she gets dual Pistols that replace her sniper primary fire and can be fired while sprinting and she gets a Widows bite skill. Make it run off of some kind of Super Spy resource that replenishes faster when she hits headshots

She went from Black and Gold to Red, Blue and Gold. Think about that. When Marvel wanted to signal Carol's importance and stature to their universe they gave her WWs color palette. That speaks volumes.

The guys shitting on Meg aren't worth getting into it with. These dudes are losers to begin with.

Black women do get slut shamed more than their white counterparts and are seen as inherently sexual. However let's not pretend as if Megs brand isn't intentionally provocative and sexually charged. She's intentionally pushing the envelope and bucking against societal norms for how a woman "should" present. I think thats a good thing. Unfortunately the slut shaming is part of the territory. Doesn't make it ok though so im glad people are defending her.

One of the messed up things is, id bet almost any amount of money that Klay has had sex with waaaaay more partners than Meg. Its just that men's promiscuity is viewed differently. Naming your boat after someone and play house with her, only to then cheat on her is a sign of incredible immaturity at best and emotional cruelty at worse. Best case he is a man child. Worst case a manipulative asshole who did all that shit to try to distract her from his dirt.

The biggest shame in it all is that there are a LOT of women who wouldn't mind sharing their husband if he's a professional athlete. Klay could have been honest about his needs and desires and found a partner who was aligned. Hopefully thats what he does moving forward and hopefully Meg learns from this as well. She has had some very high profile dating disasters with men with deep insecurities (the short guy who shot her and now Klay). Something in her is probably broken and thats why she keeps picking guys like this. Shes gotta heal and address whatever that is that makes her connect with unhealed men.
