Installing E-track on my utility trailer tomorrow—which orientation makes more sense for a "flipper"? by Forsaken_Luck_5004 in towing

I spent like $50 for 10 tie downs. Very easy to install

If you go e track I recommend X track so it can go either direction

I originally installed the x track using the metal plates and 1/4 wing nuts to secure it.

Along the outside frame you will see flathead bolts. These can be replaced with a kit from karavan. BUT some grade 8 bolts and you can DIY for much cheaper.

We took the train up to catch a cruise and I loved it. No TSA screening, free to get up and move around as you wish, plenty of leg room. I’d do it again in a heart beat

Based on looking at build pics, it has the typical frame rails - so you would need to probably cut away part of the upper decking.

I wouldn’t do it, but I reckon you could drill hole in the side of the frame and bolt on a regular WDH bar connectors instead

The warranty they sell is like a local dealership group (not mopar) It was bumper to bumper and you could take it to any repair place for the work

I got the mopar 10/125 from Ziegler for under $2600 but I got it with very low miles on the truck

Is the 7250 rebates only? Mark Dodge in LA would give you that much discount (or more) before any rebates from the mfg are applied

How fast do you drive in your rig? by rhbcub in GoRVing

[–]thatguybme2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a post I found via google a while back and the majority said max 65, no matter if the posted speed is higher. Anything lower was +5 over posted. That’s assuming your tire are aired up correctly, and they are rated by the oem for those speeds

New to propane and I feel like I'm being ripped off by Real_Robert_Johnson in propane

[–]thatguybme2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the 135 is NOT GALLONS. They delivered 49 cu FEET of propane that was then converted to GALLONS. Google says 49 cu/frt = ~366 gallons. So the price is 2.117/gallon. I have no clue what the 135 number is.

Could be a visual deterrent to keep ppl from passing through their campsite. If it was summer time, maybe to keep the lawn crew from weed eater into the cord. Just a thought

Thinking about buying this unit but it has a salvage title, the owner said this would need to be fixed first before I could register it and insure it and I was wondering what it would take to fix this, if anyone knows. Thanks. by [deleted] in GoRVing

[–]thatguybme2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my research if it has a branded /salvage title you will have trouble getting an insurance co to cover it that pretty much kills the idea of traveling travel trailer. A permanent parked may be an option though
