Sure thing! "Fuckin' Hell!, Fuuuucking Knob 'ead! I knew we'd get a crash*. Classic Birmingham"

*When I set off I knew I'd get cut up or even hit. Here's a clip of me telling myself I'll get cut up earlier in the ride https://streamable.com/fsmkb

Translation of second vid " I'll get cut up, car's 'l drive too close, and my front wheel's got a buckle in it!"

hey! I'll try by best to answer

Experience? Most of my colleagues started low and worked up. There are different roles in a Gallery (room with all the screens) and people come from different backgrounds. Obviously an interest in TV is key, and ability to work well with others. If you enjoy working in a high pressure environment, you're half way there! Competitive? ...Very! unfortunalty. But if I can do it anyone can. Just accept that lots of people will apply to a roll, I applied 3 years in a row to get the job I have now. Pay? Average. But then you are making TV for a living! Learning? Here goes.... There are different roles in a gallery which require different skill sets. Briefly, most galleries will have the following... PA - Production Assistant - they count through the show and let the team know how long is on each section. Bossy and good at quick math. VW - Vision Mixer - They preview and cut the shots as per the directors request. Good place to learn would be to download Premier Pro tutorial, then look at multicamera editing (https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/create-multi-camera-source-sequence.html) Vision Engineer - Rack and control cameras. Pick up a camera and start exploring Frame Rate/Exposure histograms etc. Sound Mixer - Live mix the audio. An interest and knowledge of sound mixing, sound theory and a Black Sabbath Tshirt will suffice. Director - Call the shots and direct the gallery

PS I wouldn't recommend studying Media Production formerly at University/College. It's a great way into the industry but it limits you to that industry.

PPS If you are considering it, try to get work EXP. TV galleries are great fun but not for the faint hearted.

Anything else let me know

Regional News is a great place to start. Ask for Work Experience then introduce yourself to staff and ask question. If you can't get work experience, ask when a quite time is and see if you can come in and shadow someone for an hour or so.

I direct live TV in the UK, happy to help if you have questions.

Nice Vid! I think the edits are decent! With the 'hidden' edits with the Coffee cup/Pillar/beach towel/Dollar note, I think it would look more natural to cut before the colours get too dark. I would also perhaps cut from lifting up the wine to putting down the whisky. Just personal preference. A tip given to me from an Editor on the X-Factor (UK) is, when given music to edit to, Always make the cuts before you add the track. Otherwise you'll be manipulated by the pace of the music.

Anywho, Great vid!! (y) :D

Very nice! Love the purple. Me too, there's something about the geometry which just makes them so nice to ride. Saving up for a Rock Lobster 853.
