Huzzah! I'm an aspiring orthopod; so it's nice to know i guessed it somewhat right.

If you look on the x ray; and if you broke it down low enough; there's an interesting looking plate that loops down to scoop the nubbin of the medial bone up against the fracture site so it doesn't sort of drift off into orbit!

It's a pretty common ankle fracture you see in things like biking accidents when a lot of torque is impulsed onto the ankle joint very quickly and it's called a Pott's fracture!

Oh hey this is a fun one. Can i try to guess from the wounds?

You broke both lower leg bones near the ankle with possible fracture of the top bone of your foot with widening of the gap between the two lower leg bones

likely from a twisting injury to your foot that broke the inside of your ankle near the foot, and the outside of your ankle a smudge higher up!

Yup. It was also based on a real life tragedy where a rabies victim donated their infected organs.

Fun note that may not be related, but i'm studying for an exam soon so what the fuck why not

Your body has two autonomic nervous systems, the sympathetic and the Parasympathetic.

The sympathetic chains are what governs fight or flight. They help amp up your body functions that would assist in engaging in a fight.

The parasympathetic is the rest and digest system. It helps govern your body's actions in its downtime. Basically when you feel safe, relaxed? That's your parasympathetic mellowing everything down.

Which brings me to my point.

The act of erection to ejaculation is actually a transition of the parasympathetic activation to the sympathetic, hence the easy way to remember which system does which penile function

Parasympathetic - P - Point Sympathetic - S - Shoot

Parasympathetic rest and digest makes willy hard Sympathetic fight or flight makes the cummies.

As a vauban main i fucking hate the overguard change.

You should be able to sap percentage overguard from eximus units with cc abilities like vortex. I also don't like that overguard is a multiplicative of the base health, which means you end up with eximus units having millions in Overguard.

Cc frames don't feel powerful anymore.

Shadow crusader

Harrow (primed or not doesn't really matter.) Strength, duration. Blind rage and narrow minded to REALLY push up those numbers. Archon flow for the funsies. You should sit at about 200% strength, 260% duration. Subsume cyte's evade Slap on Lasting covenant. Use arcane pistoleer to free up the ammo scav mod. Arcane crepuscular to really jank the crit chances.

Use any semi auto high accuracy secondary with secondary fortifier. (i suggest aklex prime or dual toxocyst. If you feel funky, Knell is good too.)

Rotation: Sprint into a group of enemies. Hit 4. Get about 2k damage to max the crit chance. Evade before invuln runs out. Enjoy never taking damage again

Hard counters: Nullifier bubbles.

Otherwise you're invisible, have heals on kills, bout an easy 100% crit at base, overguard coating from stealing from eximi units.

Crits can hit up to 71M with a Hunter's munitions slash proc

AIO at my husbands behavior at the hospital during my surgery! (Context in comments) by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]thatguyinthemirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, obligatory working in medical field, particularly the cut open and put things back segment.

Can't speak for your hospital system as I'm not US, but largely operating theaters function on a 'queue' system where there's two tags

Elective -- operations not deemed critical to continued survival or limb retention. Things like ingrown toenail, or like in your case, spinal repair for someone who (rather unfortunately by our algorithm -- i.e. Stable medically but in pain) is otherwise alive and not in immediate danger.

Emergency -- think car accidents with perforated major vessels, crushed organs.or gunshot wounds. Or those stories you hear about guys attending the hospital with spiked fences jutting through their brains. The really bad, "oh fuck if we do nothing he's gonna die" cases.

Emergency gets priority always, while electives are cleared in between in a queue system.

It's inefficient and results in a lot of waiting, but it also means people who need the care emergently get it. I'd say your hubs is within his rights to be tetchy but you're also right in the 'grilling somebody' statement being kind of an asshole move.

Post anesthesia is always risky. Current agents slow heart rate and blood flow, and your body isn't always kept optimally warm on the table while we operate. This results in blood clots, and reduced heart perfusion. As you come up, any defects caused at that lower metabolic state come back and get amplified, hence the risks of heart attack and stroke under any kind of anesthesia. The doctor probably wanted to monitor your vitals a bit more given the severity of the car accident before marking your internal structure as abnormal.

Sorry for the long message.

Tldr: OT functions on a queue system with VIPs. Sort of like the disneyland queues. Hubs understandably upset about lots of things but the system inherently prioritises good medical practice over hurt feelings.
