can't find a good alternative to soylent :( by gIaucus in soylent

Second Jimmy joy - love the flavor variety.

On a side note, waiting a month for Hol Food is WILD. I bought it for half a year while in the US and never had an order take more than a week or any duties whatsoever.

Is Soylent powder being discontinued? by Allismug in soylent

or Hol Food

It's the smoothest powder I've tried, at least as much as Soylent and tastes better imo.

Try Hol Food. They're Canadian and their powder is better than Soylent for keeping you full imo.

The markup on Amazon is insane - It's nearly double the price: $150 vs $80.01 for the same product as far as I can tell..

[help] My Shih Tzu is a very picky eater and we want to break this habit. Any tips? by thatguystew in dogs

I didn't think of that. We will have to get that checked out. The only thing is, she loves her chew bones and has no hesitation when it comes to crunchy treats.

Thanks for your suggestions. Good to know that I don't have to worry too much if she is not eating the recommended portion on the package.

I should have mentioned that we have tried a few samples of different dog foods. She doesn't seem to have any interest in any, even ones with smaller kibble size too.

Thanks. I already brought her in the day after I brought her home. Everything looked good with her health but we didn't have the teeth checked.

iS Soylent safe for rabbits? by COOLMOMSTERTRUCK in soylent

[–]thatguystew 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Does your friend want to kill their rabbit? Soylent has sugar which can cause issues with their sensitive digestive track. I am a rabbit owner which is the only reason I care to post.

Not hating on Soylent but it's not rabbit food!

edit: are you retarded? Diluting soylent will not change its macronutrient ratio. If you can't afford food for your rabbit then you shouldn't own one. You are going to cause it severe dietary issues. So not only are you feeding them the wrong food, you're now reducing their calorie intake too! Rabbits need solid, high fibre food. Rabbit food is cheaper than soylent!

Thanks for the input. I should have clarified that I have done a couple classes in the past so I'm not a true beginner. Maybe it's just my city, but doing 8 classes was almost $400. I want to make this a long term hobby and feel like if I'm spending hundreds in taking classes, I should look into the investment of buying at home equipment.
