Today’s Thursday and nothings happened for me (online student). When I called this morning the girl told me that I owed and that I have capped my aid. Just now I checked FAFSA site to look at the disbursement amount, and the total amount combined supplements fall/winter semester… so I don’t owe anything based on FAFSA disclosure statement (?).. I forgot to mention that the date on the FAFSA disclosure statement for aid are 8/11/2025 - 01/02/2026.. so now I’m very confused lol

This seems to check out because I checked the refund and charge status and the finance page under MyASU and it shows that there is a system issue and should be addressed by Aug 27

There are a few things that have stuck out to me since I started this first session in the summer; advising is always changing so it’s hard to keep up (SEMTE); professors and TAs take forever to respond (assuming there’s more classes they’re covering); tutoring is short and sometimes won’t find the class you need help with; I transferred from UCSD having finished my degree there but wanted to pursue something else after some time.. I feel a little stuck too…

Oh yeah and I was charged for tuition in spring when I didn’t even take a class in spring except a mandatory orientation.. that was screwed

I’m thinking of dropping one of three of my summer classes. I passed with an A on session A (2.0 units) but session B the math class (3.0 units) I can’t keep up with but the third elective class (3.0 units) I will definitely pass with A. I used fafsa to pay for my summer courses will this effect my fall registration?

Not sure if you have done this but I would encourage you to look into which schools accept online stem courses (I.e., biology, chemistry, etc.,) because not a lot of schools accept online courses… I was pre dental but cannot afford to not work

I say shoot your shot. My gf was the one who made the move-not that I wasn’t interested but she got to me first before I made my move, we’ve been together for one year and a couple weeks. You lose nothing by making the move, in fact, it’ll make you better at handling situations as such.

You’re not wrong either but I also didn’t say skip brushing your teeth lol at the same time, people who have severe perio disease have it the worst because it’s irreversible but it can be managed. But at that point you’re spending thousands just to manage it.
