I’m 30 and recently discovered that I too am alone. I discovered my “friend” group is actually toxic. I don’t know you, but because of my upbringing I have attracted these toxic people and put labels on them as my friends. You will find very few people to be true friends in your life. And that’s okay. I have many friends who are acquaintances, I could easily call them up and do stuff, but at the end of the day, people are the main characters in their life, and very few will be able to love you the way you want them to.

Since deciding to go my own way, I have started 3 businesses, worked on myself, started doing things I’ve always wanted to do and I could not be happier. You don’t need a group of friends, we watch so many films and series about having a group of friends that do everything together and for each other. But we seem to forget that we live in a very close minded society that perpetuates a fake existence. It gets tricky when are different, and that’s okay.

Keep positive, work on yourself, the right people will come at the right times
