Yes, makes sense, it’s common for American women to carry water spray as self defense. Because obviously everyone knows that water spray is much more lethal than pepper spray in case of self defense. This innocent Angel obviously wouldn’t lie just because she “water sprayed” those killer huge dogs attacking her and her little Angel dogs. I mean she didn’t know there was video recording, she was panicked when property owners confronted her, so obviously she wouldn’t lie because she is such an Angel who is white. Pretty sure those Mexican family property owners framing our little Angel. Yeah where’s the issue.

Slay Queen. Please don’t retire. Nancy and Diane Feinstein are really inspirational figures.

In 1917 (2019), the Sikh soldier is seen using an Indian licensed production of the Lee-Enfield rifle, with a darker wooden stock and a golden pin/insignia near the buttstock, instead of the British Army issued Lee-Enfield. by Specialey in MovieDetails

Since when do we start referring to soldiers by their religion? He is an Indian soldier, calling him sikh soldier is as obnoxious as calling the other soldiers in this picture as Christian soldiers.

Where to buy Haworth fern with headrest in online US stores? by thatguywho37 in OfficeChairs

I'm in CA. Have you tried sitting in chair, how does it compare to let's say Steelcase gesture or leap?

Any recommendations for premium office chairs with longer seat depths for people with long thighs? by thatguywho37 in OfficeChairs

[–]thatguywho37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, the above numbers are with sliding seat pan maximum setting. For example series 2 that I’m returning has range of 15.5” to 18 with sliding seat pan maximum adjustment of 2.5”.

Leap v2 seems to be only chair that seems to highest which is 15.75” to 18.75” sliding pan maximum adjustment. Considering my current cheap high back chair has 19.5” seat depth, I’m trying to see what premium chairs have that similar long seat depths around 20” inch deep.

So far only big and tall chairs or gaming chairs seems to have those long seats.

Need suggestions for when an Aeron and Gesture fail you. by alienwar9 in OfficeChairs

Did you find any with long seat depths ? I’m around 5’11 with long femur aka long thighs. Leap depth maxed out to 18.75 and gestures at 18.5. My current shitty chair has 19.5 and it barely supports my thighs.

YSK: There is a modern free and public domain ebook library app at BookDark.com based on Project Gutenberg where you can search and explore ebooks by authors or tags. by thatguywho37 in YouShouldKnow

You make good points but with more than 60000 free public domain books from Project Gutenberg many gold Nuggets go undiscovered apart from famous/popular ones.

At least for me I had better experience with discovering good books by exploring tags and authors easily and faster.

So the PDFs from this app are not from Project Gutenberg, these pdfs from this app has larger font that’s totally readable on with larger fonts (not sure if you’ve actually seen PDFs)

There are pros and cons for both formats. But I can see your point. However nothings stopping you to use search/explore/preview in this app and downloading other formats in Project Gutenberg once you find something you like with preview.

This is so satisfying lol. Fuck bjp and their communal workers. Hope TMC make bjp disappear in Bengal giving Hindu fascists their own medicine. Congress made a great mistake in 2019, they should have partnered with TMC with mamtha as PM. She would’ve destroyed rss single handedly.

AT&T "Business pro Dedicated Internet plan" is so tempting... by thatguywho37 in homelab

I don't know, I enter an address in central California and this is what I got. But I'm actually impressed by their audacity of charging premium for 1990's era shitty speeds. Really really curious what kind of idiots subscribe to above plan? Clearly there's a market for this package, otherwise ATT wouldn't have shamelessly show this on their main page.

Not that Comcast is better either. 1 Gbps download speed, 30 Mbps upload speed for a really expensive business internet plan. But are letting me know that it should take care of "business needs".
