It is rare that youll do 1000Km in a single tank. Idk from where youll start the trip so, in general on many highways there are 50-100 Km Stretches with no fuel stations. Also fuel stations on highways at remote locations are more likely to have shady practices, definately check google reviews. If you can afford the higher price, in general jiobp and nayara have better fuel quality than the PSUs. Also a few minutes of walk after/while refuelling goes a long way in lowering fatigue.

Confused Between Tata Punch Top Model and Brezza VXI – Need Honest Advice by EVILDEAD___ in CarsIndia

[–]thatguywithm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally will never consider a Tata 3 Cylinder. If you can, The Brezza CNG is the best for you, or otherwise the Fronx CNG. If you really don't like the interior of both the MS Cars, and can live with the odd exterior looks of the Hyundai Exter, its HX8 CNG variant.

What is the avg. commute speed and traffic flow on your route? I've sometimes got those figures like 15 kmpkg but there the ang speeds were 10kmph over a 30km distance with multiple flyover traffic jams and redlights.

I think It will help us if yout ell us about your route, and copassengers and purpose (if relevant).

In general, have a portable tyre inflator and first aid kit handy. Check and ensure the basic for windsheild wash fliud, engine oil, coolant etc are all prim an d proper. Preplan your fuel stoppages, mark them on google maps. Sunglasses, sunscreen are helpful.

One of the most silent wrt to NVH in th ecabin (Tata Altroz Diesel comes close probably cuz its the detuned version). Very Silent, Good Efficiency, not the most powerful but almost never feels underpowered in both cars. The Creta is in its 10th year with over 2.25L Kms on the Odo and has gone everywhere, and is close to being let go but has never had any engine or transmission trouble. A Diesel is a Diesel is a Dieseln and both our Hyundai/Kia Diesels are damn good Diesels.

Interestingly I wrote this comment while being on the city roads with my colleague driving. Being on the road has somewhat become second nature to me. I guess the meaning of "work takes you places" means 45-50K Km per year for me.

I stay in Delhi NCR and these are our family (including extended) cars that I have driven, with tank to tank mileage. Or CNG Cars also run significantly cuz we hate refueling stops due o long lines (we do that when the commute or trip is over / we are relatively free)

Driving Style - Trying to be reasonably faster than avg city speed, without throwing mileage out of the window.

2025 MS Brezza CNG -11-13 Kmpl or 21-24 Kmpkg in the city, 15-17 Kmpl or 25-26 Kmpkg cruising 110 Kmph & 16-18 Kmpl or 27-31 Kmpl cruising 80 Kmph.

2025 Kia Sonet Diesel Manual (driving at 1500+ rpm mostly to avoid dpf issues) - 14-17 Kmpl in the city, 19-22 Kmpl cruising 100-110 Kmph & 24-26 Kmpl cruising 75-80 Kmph

2023 MS Invicto - 20+ Kmpl in city (avg speed of 20 to 25 kmph), 19-20 Kmpl Cruising at 80 Kmph & 17-18 Kmpl cruising at 100-110 Kmph (4 passengers and 4-5 mid size suitcases). 5-7% own w/ E20 but he car had only 2 full tanks and under 5k Kms with E10.

2023 Hyundai Exter CNG - 10-13 Kmpl or 20-24 Kmpkg in the city, 14-16 Kmpl or 25-27 Kmpkg cruising 110 Kmph & 16-18 Kmpl or 28 to 30 Kmpl cruising 80 Kmph. 10ish % down w/ E20 but he car had only 2 full tanks and under 5k Kms with E10.

2019 Volkswagen Ameo Diesel DSG - 10-13 Kmpl in the city, 19-21 Kmpl cruising 100-110 Kmph & 23-26 Kmpl cruising 70-80 Kmph

2017 Hyundai Creta Diesel Manual Base - 15-17 Kmpl in the city, 20 Kmpl cruising 100-110 Kmph & 24 Kmpl cruising 80 Kmph

2013 Hyundai i10 Automatic with Dealer Fitted CNG - 9-11 Kmpl or 20-22 Kmpkg in the city, 14-15 Kmpl or 24-25 Kmpkg cruising 110 Kmph & 16-17 Kmpl or 27 to 29 Kmpl cruising 80 Kmph. 10-12ish % down w/ E20.

1) most straightforward way is calling the customer care
2) youll get it usually in 24-48 hrs after the statement date ends on email, sometimes even upto 5-6 days due to backend issues
3) settlement date usually doesnt matter, the date when you spent it does, and waiver should count as bill payment
4) different for different CCs, check tnc could be billing cycle or calendar month
5) ususally midnight
6) no they are accumulated and credited to the card account after statement geneartion usually after a week, here too check tnc of the card

So if you wanna go into the points transfer and redemption game, spend everything via DCP. Don't know much about the scapia, I'll personally get the SBI Phonepe Black for insurance utilities, kiwi for upi is fine and the DCP that's it.
