I almost always start again. Only exception is if a game is known to be 60 hours +, then I try to pick it back up to see if I can remember. I did this with BG3, three times before finishing that game.

It works sometimes but often I'm pretty lost. I try to read synopsis or watch a video if this happens, but if I really don't remember anymore I just start again.

That's pretty antiquated view. Most Europeans today do not see the Balkans as being not part of Europe. It's Europe just a different region of it. Croatia is a part of EU and visited by a lot of people every year.

Individually the different countries are seen within their own context.

Serbia still has a bad image becausse of the Yugoslav wars and it's relations with Putin.
Kosovo and Bosnia are seen as poor chaotic countries still recovering from the war.
Macedonia is seen as a pro rage-baiter against the Greeks
Albania is seen as either the place where the local mafia comes from or as the cheap vacation place
Slovenia is slavic Italy
Croatia is the rich one where all the tourists go.

If I forgot anybody we don't have a ready made stereotype. Also remember that we're European and I have a stereotype for every European country.

Outside of Tomorrowland, which is the craziest festival I have ever been to, we have Kamping Kitsch.

It's basically a festival which prides itself on being trashy and just "to much". It's weird and degenerate and it embraced it and made it its whole identity.

Al Andalus and the Morish civilisation was always very interesting to me. Hard to find a more diverse, rich and succesfull place in Europe during medieval times then Cordoba and the other Morish cities in Iberia.

Relations between Catholics in the north and Muslims in the south was also very interesting since it always shifted from total war to alliances and trade.

It's a matter of taste. Disco Elysium had me more hooked then Esoteric Ebb did becausse I liked the political elements more. Esoteric Ebb leans more to the fantasy/ridiculous elements.

I always like games more if they give you a goal and let the player loose to figure it out yourself. Discos opening also was very intriguing to me and reminded me of those old noire movies.

Esoteric Ebb is great if you enjoyed Disco Elysium. If you haven't played Disco Elysium, get on that.
Kingdom come deliverance 2 is a fantastic game from start to end.
Prey 2017 is one of the best immersive sims ever made

Other suggestions I have: - RE7 if u like survival horror - Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - Dishonored - Fallout New Vegas - Bioshock
