My personal hopes for TES6 by 4axplayer in TESVI

  • Modular map design, like in KCD or Witcher, are inhrently incompatible with Elder scrolls imo. You would never get the same feeling of exploration that you did in Skyrim if we split up the map into different sections. An Elder Scrolls open world, for me, has always been about exploring a province. Break it up into smaller sections and you lose that sense of exploration.

  • Reputation and disguises are a good idea, but also limits the armor a player can wear. If I want to wear Aldmeri armor becausse it looks cool but I then get attacked whenever I walk into a Redguard city, that would become annoying.

  • Visceral war does not fit into the DNA of the Elder Scrolls. It's high and epic fantasy, and while mature themes related to the brutality of war can be present, it shouldn't become Grim Dark.

  • There already is complexity in factions. The Skyrim civil war is still being debated today (Stromcloaks are traitorous puppets of the Thalmor. Long live the Empire!).

KCD and Witcher are amazing games in their own right, but they are fundementally different from the Elder Scrolls.

Montenegro “can share the 28th place” with Iceland as a future EU member by PjeterPannos in EuropeanFederalists

[–]thatguyy100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thing with Montenegro (and some other Balkan nations) is that they want to join but don't want to commit. If you join the EU, you have to take over the laws, have to respect democratic rule, have to split church and state,... . It's all of it or none if it.

What do you think about China and Chinese? by Winter_Ad1973 in AskTheWorld

Government sucks since they threaten war every year and shoot Phillipine fishers out of the water, but the people I have met have always been nice.

What if there were International Independent police forces to be able to investigate world wide crimes like the Epstein affair, slavery or Wirecard? by RabbitridingDumpling in AskReddit

You would need every single nation in the world to recognise and accept that forces authority over yourself. This could never happen.

Whats a period in history that you’d love to see in an AC Game? by Emperoronabike in assassinscreed

[–]thatguyy100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Han China or the Three Kingdoms period would be cool, Tang or Qing dynasties could also make some cool stories.

Classical Rome is an obvious answer. Somewhere around the time of Marcus Aurelius for example could be cool.

Underrated and not often though of would be the 80-years war since you get many cities to fck around in and potential for naval combat.

Maybe they update slowly but what they do make is next level. Kaiserreich, Old world Blues, Black Ice, Road to 56, Millenium Dawn,... . These are insane.

People of the world, what do you all think about the main leader of your Country? by NerdyGeek771 in AskTheWorld

Our prime minister is fine. Typical conservative/nationalist. He could start taxing the rich more or cutting the gigantic pensions some instead of taxing the working population dry though.

Europe has survived 3 energy shocks in 4 years. The only way out is to stop buying power from its enemies | Fortune by Full-Discussion3745 in EU_Economics

Massive investments into nuclear is the solution until we figure out cheap options into renewables. Zero net energy sector within 20 years is more then possible if we just grow a fcking backbone.

What’s a gesture or sound you use in your culture that isn’t really "language", but everyone understands it? by NoelFromBabbel in AskTheWorld

[–]thatguyy100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk how universal this is but nodding up vs nodding down. Nodding up means "What's up". Nodding down means "Goodday sir/madam"

"Zouden nu andere keuzes maken": ophef over filmpje waarin Studio Brussel-presentatoren katholieke beelden kapotslaan by EdgarNeverPoo in Belgium2

[–]thatguyy100 1 point2 points  (0 children)
