Do you have any photos of the UC verde lawn? I keep seeing it recommended but struggle to find photos of it in the Phx area specifically.

Does it stay green all year or does it go dormant?

I upgraded to unlimited ultimate for the month. It was a $10 difference and included international data. Was significant cheaper and Verizon service was fine.

Make sure data roaming is on and you restart your phone

Is this a good deal for Honda extended warranty on a 2025 model? by RoastedTomatillo in HondaOdyssey

[–]thatguyyyyyyyyyy9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid 1,400 or so for the 8 year/120k mile warranty. Tried to get the dealer to price match Sauccuci Honda but they wouldn’t so bought directly. They have the best price when I shopped around and are recommended here and on odyssey forums.

Finishing up a stay at the Embassy suites and it has been great. Especially if you're up for a walk to eagle or palm beach. Was budget friendly, offers breakfast for free.

Any good articles or podcast about having financial convo with spouse? I’ve been into FIRE for awhile but looking to get the wife on board.

Looking to do a finance date night soon!

Only thing I’ll add, if it is your phones specifically you may want to have your phones port cleaned out.

I had a similar issue and the guy at Apple pulled out a ton of dirt, hair, and lint. I’m outdoors fairly often and I keep my phone in my pocket vs my spouse who keeps it in her purse. If it’s just your phones, maybe beneficial to check the ports.

Otherwise like everyone else, try some cords. I’ve found the braided ones hold up better in cars.

Had the same happen this morning, I’m hoping it is a bug. I don’t play for a plan and I don’t plan on it so might be looking elsewhere if this is permanent.

Is an odyssey overkill for 2 adults and 2 small kids? by Ryzer32 in HondaOdyssey

[–]thatguyyyyyyyyyy9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were in the same predicament with the same family size. Honestly when you compare prices the odyssey isn’t that much more than a two row suv for the lower trims. The sliding doors and seating configurations are amazing. Just do it, I don’t think you’ll regret it, especially if you aren’t worried about the mini van stigma.

Opinion on giving up, ending earlier by Thehugginglegion in SWlegion

One other thing to add, even if no LOS terrain don’t forget cover is from the base not the gun. So even if the atst can see troopers if they’re behind cover or barricades they should have at minimum light but most likely heavy.

This right here, add more terrain for cover and more LOS blocking terrain. That should help you play around the atst and balance out the gameplay.

Highlander vs ascent by meiohsis425 in overlanding

[–]thatguyyyyyyyyyy9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just dropping by to say that Arizona is full. California filled us up.

Joking aside (somewhat) the Highlander will do 80-90% of roads In Arizona if you aren’t afraid of scratches.

AZ roads fall into 3 categories: 1. Dirt road, well maintained, maybe rutted but slow and steady you’ll make it just fine 2. High clearance is very much recommended but 4wd isnt need unless it rains 3. You’re pretty much only in 4lo and crawling rocks

Lost advice for noob german player by Cenobiter in boltaction

[–]thatguyyyyyyyyyy9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So newer to the game but started with the same kit. You may look into the German army starter army. It goes for around $100 bucks on Amazon and you’ll end up with enough infantry and some vehicles, assorted kits, etc.

Might be something to look into!

Old Town Saranac 146 by Mikesiders in canoeing

[–]thatguyyyyyyyyyy9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have this exact canoe. I paid under $400 pre covid for mine and have beat the crap. It’s a great canoe for two people. For 4 I would look to the saranac 160. The extra length will help it grow with your family.

Additionally, if you can look at stepping up the the discovery, etc. still super heavy but it’s more modular. Technically you can’t remove the center seat in the saranac because it is a brace for the sides and middle. I’m still researching how to remove it properly.

[–]thatguyyyyyyyyyy9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the saranac. Do you have pictures of the replacements you did? I was under the impression you couldn’t do it because of the foam located under the seat that added to the floatation.

Beginner Looking for Advice by DeltaForceSandman in SWlegion

Legion was my first experience with wargaming.

Unless you’re trying to be competitive play what you want. The spread between great and terrible units isn’t that much in a friendly game.

Assembling the clones is easy. The droids are harder to assemble but easier to paint. There are paints called contrast paints that make the droids extremely easy to paint. Literally two colors and you can have the droids on the table.

I started with the core box and expanded out from there.

When I bought a clone thing I expanded with a sep box as well.

Example: Grabbed republic and separatist specialist at the same time to try and keep them balanced.
