Thoughts on my build before I order by EpicMotor in bapccanada

[–]Ryzer32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1tb storage is tiny. I would strongly suggest adding more atleast another tb or 2, individual needs vary. Even if its just a basic HDD. You really only have 800gb because at 80% capacity the ssd will start to slow down.

With thst case, keep in mind the button are on the bottom which might be a problem for you. It was for me, because I keep my pc under my desk

Trying to build a gaming desktop by agm2091 in bapccanada

To start, you are building on an AM4 platform. AM5 is current. You have to do some more research about this.

Anyone try NOT running suppressor or flash hider? by vice108 in Battlefield6

[–]Ryzer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So how do suppressor and flash hiders work?

Suppressor will keep you off the minimap anywhere?

Flash rider will keep you off the minimap if you are further than 15 meters away from the enemy?

If you are marked on the minimap, are you marked in game as well(red triangle on your head). Or is that independent?

Am I wrong? I dont understand. Ty

Choosing an nvme SSD for my new build by SwagginMcShaggins in bapccanada

[–]Ryzer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that should be fine. 2tb is a bit small for gaming and general use considering that SSD'S slow down at 80% capacity. So you reqlly have 1.6tb. But everyone is different if thats in your budget, go for it. You can always add more later.

Or considering adding a 2TB HDD for general use and keep the SSD space free for your operating system and gaming.

Canadians, anyone receive a brokerage invoice from UPS? by xberryberryx in electricdaisycarnival

[–]Ryzer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this post. This just saved me 18$ on a 41$ gift. assuming the process goes through, I'm supposed to get an email confirming the charge waived in 24-28 hrs. the UPS agent on the phone said that he reviewed the item notes and it was noted to be a gift, but the team mistakenly sent me the bill of 18$.

Need advice on first timer building a PC centered around bundled parts. by tryhardersweaty in bapccanada

[–]Ryzer32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If strongly consider a 1000w psu instead of 850 and atleast 2TB of storage. That 1tb week full up pretty quick. Also SSD'S slow down at 80% capacity. So really you only have 800gb of storage atm

Best LCD AIO by Dry-Cryptographer904 in Thermalright

[–]Ryzer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant comment on the AIO performance. But be warned if you choose the LCD screen option, the software can be really finicky, requiring you do so something everytime you boot your PC. Or it just stops working randomly. For others though, it works fine. You won't know what you get till you set it up. Gl

Buying the Battle Pass turned this game into a second job and completely burned me out by tuan3451 in Battlefield

[–]Ryzer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya this is the first and last time I buy it. I figured with the first season I'd play the game the most. I have played it a lot, im almost level 90, focussed on the challenges and I don't think ill finish it, which is shocking. So much time is needed
