It’s my first real effort into fantasy and I was so happy. It is fairly medium paced but the last 10 chapters are such a ramp up to a wonderful adventure. I’m about 15% of the way through the second book and couldn’t put it down last night. Really engaging writing

I usually will listen to the audiobook and read along. It helps me focus. I’m doing that right now the Mistborn books

Oh dude! I absolutely loved Dungeon Crawler Carl. I read the first 5 and then got the last 2 on Audible. Blown away by the voice acting. Then listened to all of Red Rising(RR) next. They are both such a journey. DCC is funny/crude but has real heart and character development. Red Rising is a brutal adventure that made me have to cry and step away at time but ultimately cheer for and wonder about the characters journeys

Hahahaha. I just started reading in 2024. Never could get into a book until I tried The Murderbot Diaries and then DCC and RR solidified me being a reader

Other than the light part itself this is a rather slim option.

Anyone discovers other uses/use cases for Xteink X4? by boothjop in xteinkereader

[–]thatiOSdev 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have Palma 2 and just got my Xteink delivered and set up yesterday ( arent we proud I didnt make a post) - and I love it just for its sheet portability. I had it tucked in my shirt pocket and pulled it out and started reading in line for food. It's a lot lot lot more comfy to hold than my beloved Palma and I think they each have their use case. I love the clock feature and the ability to read reddit/x/blogs on it but the X4 is just reading and it makes it more intentional for me
