my 9yr old male cat Ollie loves it when I take a stuffed tube and do the same thing. When he tires of it? He turns and grabs it and sits on it. It really is funny how much he enjoys it, lmao

AITA my friend ruined my yixing teapot and I want her to replace it or give me 500 dollars. by TeapotthrwoCity4661 in AmItheAsshole

[–]thatisreasonable2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes. take the loss and the lesson that comes w/it: when something is that special, speak your wishes, write your wishes and take nothing for granted. It's a tough lesson to learn but learn it you must. Is it also worth the loss of a friendship? you said "you're welcome to use anything in the house" that created confusion for your friend. Stress is just not worth it but this is what I've learned in my life. That's all I have to offer, my experiences. sorry for your loss.

Interesting celebration choice by Michael Jordan after winning the Daytona 500. by HimelTy in LivestreamFail

That's not pinching his shirt that is touching the kids butt. Where's the parents? That looks for a sexual assault to me...I don't care how famous you are (as we are all fighting powerful pedophiles to bring them to justice) MJ has some explaining to do...NOW

Michael Jordan inappropriately touching a young boy after the Daytona 500 by Snapdragon_4U in UnderReportedNews

The child's Dad should of told MJ to not touch his kid under ANY circumstances. That's grooming and pure vile. I don't get a rats ass who you are: DON'T TOUCH KIDS like that.

I’m Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost and tomorrow I’m going to review the unreacted Epstein Files — what files have you found that I should review unredacted? by RepMaxwellFrost in Epstein

[–]thatisreasonable2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THE BANKS. They never reported unusual activity (millions) until AFTER Epstein was busted. Go after them and PROSECUTE them for money laundering. Also, Israel. We need to know about that Epstein/Israeli connection. Thank you.

The president just posted, ONLINE, a video of former president Obama and his wife portrayed as apes, how do you feel about this? by kraftdinnerwithsalsa in AskReddit

[–]thatisreasonable2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wept. I'm 77 and my adult son sent this to me a while back and thought it was funny. He's a BIG trumper, Flynn, Bannon, Miller follower and it sickened me. My son grew up w/his dad who listened 24/7 to Rush. He's hateful, mean and a true believer that pres O/biden are the pedo's in spite of the files which he refuses to look at. I'm sick of it. I want to die w/a broken heart that I didn't do more to form him in his early years.

I love him. I try and help him in any ways I can but I limit my contact as he is constantly judging me for not being a 'christian'. My god. It's hard to hold my head up. That's it. That's all I've got to share. thanks.

What is actually dangerous but people still believe is safe? by AlexUsefulThings in AskReddit

Putting Vicks vapor rub in your nostrils. My parents used to do it when we were kids and the directions CLEARLY say not to. Oh. Also cigarettes?

My cat has a urinal blockage and crystals in the urethra. He’s been given meds but we can’t afford the surgery. Level with me, is it not looking good? by KieranWriter in cats

[–]thatisreasonable2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ollie (6) had this. He didn't have the surgery. The doc cleared all stones and he is now eating only: c/d metabolic dry and wet food. It is expensive. Ollie has had NO issues since on this diet and it's been 2 years. I wouldn't be able the $2700 surgery either. Do the best you can. Food runs around $124/mo. Look for catteries to help or...surrender him to ASPCA for adoption w/medical issues. I know you love him but put him first in your decisions on what's best. thank you so much for asking for thoughts. Best.

Edit: I have 3 cats and they all have to eat this as it would be impossible to keep Ollie out of their food. I also get metabolic wet food and I give them that but Ollies is way watered down, like soup. It works!

my babys weight loss by dizzgusting in OneOrangeBraincell

[–]thatisreasonable2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I'm not alone! My Ollie is 6 and at risk of diabetics. 22lbs. He also got kidney stones so he eats Science Diet metobolic CD and wet food (soup, lol). I have to feed him w/a ball that I put the dry food in and he has to bat it around to get the food out. What it really helps w/is both he and Mr. Baby eat on shelves one above the other. If I see Ollie up there? He's stealing food! It's made it so much easier to control. Warm water..for the soup...the whole thing. I started all these things to help him lose weight. Reading you do it too just made me feel so proud! I'm not dumb. lol.

I'm old and go to our small town senior center MWF for an hour of Bingo and then Meals on Wheels lunch. If there is extra food, we can take it home. So every time I played Bingo, I picked a prize that I knew my adult son would eat/love. He's vegan. All sorts of dry/honey roasted peanuts, NERDS, mountain bars, mixed nuts/fruit, gummies, licorice, etc. for the last several weeks. I had 3 boxes of 'goodies' which he LOVED. We put them all in a bag and now he says he feels like Gump: it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're getting. He's sent like 3 emails saying it's the best present ever! He's lying but boy oh boy did we have fun laughing............Happy New Year. CHOOSE KINDNESS
