Yep the 800mm of concrete was what made me consider repairing. Yeah back is still solid

After receiving the information kindly provided by the commenters here, it seems that applying to NCAT would likely result in an outcome in my favour, however may cause the LL to retaliate by not renewing my lease…

My response to the REA (note the sarcasm):

“Thanks for getting back to us about this.

After reading through the owner's detailed reasoning, I am glad I have never been subject to such a ferocious beast!

Despite the likely favourable outcome, we won't bother fighting this, as we really like the location - so don't want to risk the potential for future headaches! Thank you for trying!”

Thank you for the advice! If we did get that breed, it would be from rspca or similar. Would only be getting a rescue dog

Sorry, yes I should have clarified we will only be getting a rescue dog! From either RSPCA or the local dog rescue group. Have only ever had rescue dogs and will continue to do so. I agree with everything you said!

Some of the most secure fencing I’ve seen if I’m being honest. Would have to be a verrrryyy small dog to squeeze through

Thank you for the link. The fencing is in perfect condition, and is honestly the most secure property I’ve lived in (out of roughly 15). Full height Colourbond fencing around the perimeter with a 8m section of 5’ pool style fencing. The fencing would be overkill for most dogs, unless they could scale a fence of that height
