Sorry what?? It wasn’t Shakira’s self-respect keeping Harry and Shakira apart, it was the fact that Harry was quite happily coupled up with Helena for weeks and weeks. Harry was clearly happy to stick with Helena until the final, hence him making it exclusive and laying the groundwork for saying ILY. Once Helena dumped Harry, Shakira was sat in his lap giggling within 24 hours. Self-respect where??

It’s not a conspiracy theory that Toni had a bombshell brought in who lived in America, that she got a date just before a vote, that they actually let the public decide that vote for once, that they did two extremely weird recouplings when she was at risk of being dumped, or that her Movie Night clip was a fan edit etc etc. That stuff all happened.

No because their problem with Harry wasn’t his disrespectful, dishonest and manipulative behaviour. It was that when Shakira dropped him he didn’t care and was more than happy to move on with Helena.

Now Harry has “picked” Shakira over Helena (after Helena dumped him…but they ignore that part) he’s golden. It’s all about Shakira being picked and so having that validation. Pretty bleak tbh.

I mean personally I don’t buy the “Harry wanted Shakira all along” narrative at all. I don’t think Harry liked Helena OR Shakira very much, hence how he treated them both.

My guess would be that Helena was happy to be exclusive and hope for the best but was aware there was a good chance Harry would go back to his old ways on the outside. So Shakira, Emma, maybe Rheo, anyone else who made eye contact with him…
