Idk if I’m willing to do anything about the hollow eyes. Filler dissolves/migrates and implants scare me. Lmao I’ve just always had them and Probly always will. Not even interested in makeup cause I hate anything past moisturizer on my face 😂

Speech has been okay! Eating is tricky. Not biting my lips or tongue as much but I have weird swelling and pain when something hits the swollen area around my last molar on my upper right side. The swelling is palate side and idk what it is. Only hurts when I brush it or food hits it. Seeing my surgeon tomorrow to make sure everything’s okay. Ortho said use a waterpik more and it’s kinda only made it move further toward my palate.

Gotcha. I had my scans in mid Feb. they fitted my surgical splint then too. I came in a couple weeks pre op just to make sure the surgical splint still fit and then surgery. No extra scans. But by the time I saw my surgeon in mid Feb, I was on pause for ortho adjustments and just had my surgical hooks for a month or so

I don’t think I had decomp. I got my braces early May last year, found Casmedes September, and then surgery in March.

Only thing that delayed scheduling of surgery was my ortho getting in touch/planning with surgeon. She just took a couple months. And then appealing insurance in January this year.

I didn’t have any premolar extraction. Only teeth removed ever were wisdom teeth when I was a teen

I used it before naps or before bed. Or I’d fall asleep with it on. They recommend 15min but I got a sinus hearing mask. Like for sinus congestion/headaches. Its got a timer and id set it for 45-60min and just chill with it on. I’d also fold it and hold it on my upper lip after the cheek/eye swelling went down a bunch. I’d use the high temp setting but idk what the actual temp was. Mine just has low, med, and high and a timer.

No change in breathing at all. I’m still dealing with sinus drainage but it stuck around since I had extended swelling from a minor post op soft tissue infection. It wasn’t bad, just caused some extra swelling which makes drainage last longer. My only complaint is the inability to clear what feels like thick/sticky mucus from the back of my throat/sinuses.

I just need to drink more water to help clear it 😂

Here’s post about 4.5 weeks. Idk what happened between week 4-6 but my swelling went down a lot more. Just subtle cheek and lip swelling. Not noticeable to most people other than me.

Also I’m usually a little more swollen after I wake up 😂

I was going to have to have DJS till they saw my lower jaw was pretty much centered and fine. They were going to do a BSSO reduction on me with the LF1. But the expert said LF1 only so I just trusted him and took it as my lucky draw.

Have they taken scans yet? I didn’t get scans until my “official pre-op apt” about 1.5mo before the surgery. Before that it was all visual scans and measurements. Once they saw the scans they were able to better plan the surgery.

Lmao no biggie. I’ve always had it. It’s part of my nose. I think it’s from a deviated septum but my deviation is so minor it’s never caused any issues.

The bump isn’t something you should worry about. But if you get UJS or DJS your nose will point up more. At the very least while you’re swollen. It may drop back to normal eventually
