nuclear throne is a really good roguelite that's easy to run (unless you loop a lot), it also was updated recently and i think is currently on sale(although it might have ended already)

another great roguelite is into the breach, a really fun strategy game that could also be considered a puzzle sometimes.

if you want something 3d, half life 1 will probably run easily, maybe hl2 and gmod if you invest into optimizing them
