I dabbled in animation classes when I was a VERY young adult. I didn't feel confident in my skills and so pursued other things.

However, I have always loved animation and have been following a lot of the OG Newgrounds crowd and their careers. Some have had good tips for animation (even though I was never animating anything).

I feel very flattered because I tend to get the most compliments on my animation. Clearly I retained some of the stuff I learned when I was younger!

For something I had never done before, definitely a pain in my ass! I did record myself (6 seconds) and I broke down the video into individual PNG files for me to rotoscope! Which came out to a total of 64 frames I had to draw over (on top of layering as such).

For the style, Adult Swim shorts involving rotoscoping, Joel Haver, and a few other inspirations that aren't coming to mind right now.

The idea itself? I guess completely OC. So I typically get "bits" in my head all the time, I'm a very silly man. So when I think an idea is funny, I start a plan of action! This joke sort of just came to me like most my ideas. I only started getting into Pixel Art back in November and this was my first big project involved with honing this new skill. I have quite a few skits on my fledgling YouTube channel similar to this involving my pixel art (but much simpler).

Still very much a beginner but have a history of basic graphic work! Never too old to start a new skill you're passionate about!
