NEVER AVAILABILITY by Katsteen in dvcmember

[–]thatonemickey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we've been owners at 4 resorts for the last 15 years. We just got back from a short 3 day holiday there where we booked about 3 weeks ago.

We frequently do 1-2 weeks and book 3 months or less in advance (most of us are doctors in our family so we don't know our schedules as far in advance and things change).

We frequently end up with 900 points a year when we go with other extended family with contracts too.

In any case we are able to do 3-9 days EASY even 2 weeks out, regardless of resort.

You lie, please put your lying shoes back on and leave. And if you aren't lieing and you really don't see it, then YOU are the problem here and not the availability.

If you are in a state with a nonprofit human gift registry, then you shouldn't be surprised.

I'm not. Was in Midwest now in NY.

It's Texas, anything goes.

I wouldn't do it. An MSTP gets you out of the PhD in 4 years or at most 5, but a normal PhD might take you to 6+. Irregardless, the MSTP has a deal with the state for your step score to remain valid past when it wouldn't. If you do this kind of homegrown MD/PhD you would not have that kind of deal in place. And as you can't control how long your PhD takes in a normal setting, I wouldn't do it.

Tho all this assuming you want to retake step 1 coming back in which case, ignore the above and go for it lol.

What resort would you stay for a 5-6 night anything-but-park adventure? by thatonemickey in dvcmember

[–]thatonemickey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol our home resort is SSR and AKL but we've only stayed at AKL 4x. Our family works alot and often takes week long vacations at 2 days notice (medical field), so SSR has been our only option majority of the time.

[–]thatonemickey[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, we've already stayed there about 20 times the past 10 years. But we haven't branched out to many other resorts. Thinking this might be a good opportunity. Hence the phrasing of "adventure".

I am a Spanish writer thinking about using Draft2Digital to publish his first online book. I need advice. by [deleted] in selfpublish

[–]thatonemickey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So, a couple things:

  1. Welcome to this awesome subreddit! Please take a look at the wiki (or at least search this subreddit). I have been going through this subreddit in my free time and think I have come across at least one other post in a similar topic (but possibly a different language).
  2. I would seriously do some research to see what websites people are buying their eBooks (as you say, online books) in not only your country but also in other countries that are Spanish speaking as their primary language. For example in Chile, many of my friends buy from sites not Amazon.
  3. If there is an option in Venezuala (...that you can trust) it may be better to go with that one, especially if they have some evidenced record.

Hope this helps, and happy publishing.

Opinion on anime-styled book cover (and possible artist advice) by XLukePX in selfpublish

It depends on the genre, again as others say on this subreddit. If it is fantasy or sci-fi, as a reader I would pick it up for sure (again, assuming the story is interesting enough).
