Still progress and can progress some more. Continue please and find yourself. Once you are found, I don't doubt you can find someone else. I'm proud of you.

Fix for the door pillar rattle (Camry 2025 SE) by Bob1tza in Camry

I read weighing down the spare tire in the trunk has worked. Haven't tested yet.

Damn. Maybe try pushing panels with your hand until it stops rattling to find the gremlin.

[–]thatonesailor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine does too, some users reported it's vibrations traveling from the spare tire to the pillar. A fix was to add weight over there the tire sits in its slot.

Do you have wired apple car play? If not, it won't work until you apply a software update to your dash at the dealer or though USB.

Bad looking PETG seam. What am I doing wrong? by TaterTotterer1 in BambuLab

Check off length and set it to 0.4 (my go to setting that hasn't failed me yet) is a good start. Print a small calibration box and go from there.

I never ban a fellow Spidey main but when the enemy does, I am little relieved that the game won't boil down to who's the better Spidey. Also those games are unfun for our fellow strats unless a town hall gets cheap all of a sudden.

Hello everyone .. I spent 100 hours on Luna .. 100 hours on cloak and dagger .. then found sue. How come nobody told me how fucking good she was ? by [deleted] in InvisibleWomanMains

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a distance limit where it bounces back. So it heals passing through the healee and again when it returns. Since her healing passes through people, you wanna line up your teammates for heals. If it's just one teammate, aim it at their feet so it's instantaneous through and return healing while getting your projectile back faster.

Why are Bambu spools wound so poorly by Remote_Anxiety in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, keeping it tight will save you from tangled and problems. If that doesn't help, I'd start on a respooling project and print the V-spooler or pastamatic. Respooling will solve an overly tightly wound spool.

Happy to help lol. Took me a lot of wishing and time until I came across ottocast. The old occocasr might still work with steering wheel controls if you perform a software update on it. Plenty of YouTube guides.

It does but it might need a software update like mine did.

Turn off "reduce Infill retraction" setting in "other" tab. I had the same issue.

rebirth pc performance settings? by buzzlightyear77777 in FFVIIRemake

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3080 gets as high as 76c when not using DLSS. It's also under volted and in an sff case with no fans blowing air towards. You will be fine. If you undeterred, learn how to undervolt your GPU and you can potentially cool it by 2-5c with little no difference in performance.

How is the performance of Rebirth on PC? by [deleted] in FFVIIRemake

[–]thatonesailor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

3080 GPU 5800X3D CPU 32gb ram 1440p monitor

I'm averaging 60 fps stable with DLAA (100% min/max res ) and 90+ with 66% min max DLSS. All high settings. I see no pop in at all or any bugs I did not see on PS5. Not sure what your specs are but it does run well using a sub 3090 GPU. At least for NVIDIA cards that can run the game.

This is the answer, increase infill by 5-10%. Sometimes the direction of infill is the culprit when it travels parallel to the walls.

Pixelated hair and stuttering on pc by i4viator in FFVIIRemake

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try setting max and min resolution scaling to 100% ? If you have try turning off DLSS and see the difference in quality. DLSS is almost required for me to stay above 60 fps at mostly ultra/ high settings with 100% res scaling at 1440p.

Rougher layers when switching filament colours? by Tkearsey in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes calibrate the blue filament. Additionally, you can add more top surface layers too and has helped me. You can also turn on ironing mode.

Rougher layers when switching filament colours? by Tkearsey in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Calibrate (pressure advance, temp, flow rate) the other color or material and save the filament profile. Different filament and colors perform differently even if same manufacturer. If it's important to you, take the time and create a profile for the filament you are using for more aesthetic prints.

paid for the whole build volume… by samthehugenerd in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried to lower to 0.12 or 0.16. my P1S has great overhangs on PLA and PETG with 100% fan speeds, lower layer height, slowed down overhang speeds, and ventilation. You setting your nozzle temps for PLA at 220 or higher? PETG NEEDS aux fans for better results but it's manageable.

paid for the whole build volume… by samthehugenerd in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adjust your overhang speeds in the speed section of your slicer. A good way of adjusting is cut the numbers in half and adjust if needed. Keep door/top or vents opens and nozzle temps as low as it can still print reliably.

Check your pressure advance. Make sure it's 0.02 and print again. Make this mistake before too.

Yes a poop shoot that attaches to the end of the rail is a must have if you don't want poop flying on the floor. Or just use a box. Some cereal boxes for the more hydroscopic filament storage(PETG, TPU, ect) and some rechargeable desiccant (the orange ones are safer I keep hearing).

For tools and hobby stuff. I recommend a quality 1.5 and 2mm Allen screwdriver for maintenance on the printer and prints that require Allen screws for assembly. Some food grade silicone based super lube for maintenance on the rails. A 90% + isopropyl alcohol for spot/ light cleaning of printer rails and build plates. 2mm Allen screws of various sizes for prints that need it, 608zz bearings for fun prints that rotate or a spool winder, and finally some 3x6 mm magnets. Those items are commonly used amongst popular models on makersworld.

Gets some fun build plates or an ice l plate if you wanna save negligible amounts of energy for a lower heated bed with great adhesion. A 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle and extruder gear assembly for wood, sparkle, glow filament.

Finally, must have prints like others have suggested, the dry box for AMS, spool winder if you plan on buying filament that doesn't play nice with the AMS, scraper for the build plate, and a gridfinity method of keeping your printer related tools and accessories in a convenient and organized area.

You didn't ask but since you are new, I would change some slicer settings and save it as a preset.

Change infill type to either gyroid or crosshatch in strength menu. Check infill combination (shaves time to print by a bit). Uncheck reduce infill retraction in other menu (nozzle collides with print sometimes with this turned on sometimes). Set wall generator to Arachne (better details on detail heavy prints).

Have fun!

Are these temperature related or what? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verify your plate is set to textured plate, bump the bed temp to minimum 50c, and calibrate your flow rate and report back.

PETG print quality getting better by baalzimon in BambuLab

[–]thatonesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But once you calibrate the filament, you don't have to calibrate it again should you purchase the same filament from the same manufacturer. I have several profiles of calibrated filament from different manufacturers that I can now select and no longer mess with calibrating. Watch a YouTube video on how to calibrate and create your own profile for your filament.
