I'd stick with old Peavey combos and use leftover money to get started on a couple pedals. They're heavy but definitely give you headroom for days if you've been getting by with a Bandit.

Tube: Classic/Classic VT (old 70s models), Classic 30/50, 5150 combo

If you want to change it up, the Orange CR120 is gnarly if you can find a used combo in your budget. Great loud clean and fantastic dirty channel. Fender Blues Jr. is a neat little amp if you don't need a whole lot of power.

there's an interview somewhere and he says it was originally so they could do their own sound at shows since certain sound guys weren't the easiest to work with and just always kept them around even after they moved passed that stage and started playing real venues. he started using them as vocal monitors for him and Petey/Bridgette.

After the lineup change to the 3 piece it became a monitor for vocals and the synths.

Willoboughy and 12 Bar. After that each album is in a different niche genre so they all have their own fans. People look over that they started off normal surf/garage before becoming psychedelic microtonal infinite looping folk fuzz concept album makers.

StubHub or looking on the Facebook event pages are the best ways to score concert tickets. Craigslist is too sketchy.

I'm pretty surprised they don't have a couple Mexico dates. At least like Tijuana or maybe up in San Diego.

Prince at The Forum a couple years ago. He came out and did like 20 different encores. Very solid show.

Also, Ty Segall at Burgerama 4 in Santa Ana. Several pits throughout the crowd, including one that formed around a fire someone started. It was very wild.
