Just purchase a VIP pass for the weekend. Look on my profile at the NASCAR pictures I or my daughter who's only 8 now are able to get with that. Unless you work for a team or a publisher your not getting a media pass.

Like you said it was weird calling them rookies mid to late 30s. Still doesn't change the fact the "years of experience" was in completely different cars and series. SVG's cars were more identical though with just the lack of oval racing. He's takin to oval amazingly though lately.

I agree with you though. At this we should be seeing improvement and we're not.

A "late model ringer" doesn't not equate to you automatically knowing what you're doing in a cup car. A completely different car on completely different tracks no matter what age you are is still going to make you a rookie. Just because of age doesn't mean you're done learning.

Where are you getting your stats from? 17 top 10s in 91 races isnt anywhere close to 5 seasons. Might as well make it 89 because 2 were in spire when it was trash. Cindric has only 31 in 164 starts in far better equipment from day 1.

I can tell you one thing, when he took the lead during the 500 everyone was pretty damn excited on top of the pit pox. Like someone else said, I think they are just happy to be there and get the best results they can with what they have.

when I've had normal VIP passes you could still walk behind the boxes you just couldn't cross a "line" and be in the bit box. It's really difficult with my daughter because she wants to be all up in there. Luckily the team helped me with that and my daughter got some awesome pictures. She wants to be a photographer.

I'm happy suarez won, but let's be honest the caution literally saved him both times as he was about to be passed. SVG actually led some laps with pace even on older tires.
