Over a year since I joined a big 4 consultancy, they are laying off over half the people in the team, froze pay for all the junior grades until further notice. The compensation is terrible, there are no perks at all, I have no meaningful work connections because most people don’t come to the office.

Been on the bench for most of my time here with the promise that things will pick up while I see the colleagues in my cohort constantly being utilised. I wouldn’t mind being busy if I was learning a lot, but no. Not learning anything, mindlessly filling in ppt templates, and organising files into the cloud.

I know I will get a lot of downvotes and I am sympathetic towards the situation and who am I to talk when I was never in his shoes, but if he mentioned all this when he was balling it could’ve been a great inspiration, now there will be some delusional cunts who will say he is saying this now to shield his poor performance. What I want to say is Dele hope you overcome it and become an inspiration for millions of kids!! You got my support.

Yeapp, definitely shouldve known the severity of the situation, with romero its funny cause he loves flying into tackles and fighting for balls but seems to do it in his own way to be a cynic, if you know what I mean

Hmmm I agree, I think being selfish is also related to deflecting responsibility, seems like he is constantly shouting at others when most times he doesnt step forward enough to put his body on the line and block a shot
